Stayed in the Frank Sinatra room, sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful view on the lake. Nice breakfast sitting outside. Owner and staff very helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

We stayed in the penthouse suite which i think must sleep 5 or 6 (it had 3 bedrooms).
The hotel sits on the edge of Lake Maggiore and from the “balcony” of the suite the views were amazing. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station.
We were there for the moon & stars festival and the hotel is right at the end of the food street but we weren’t disturbed at all when we went to sleep. Nice powerful shower, kitchen with full sized fridge.
Only 1 improvement i would recommend, and that would be to put a blackout blind in each of the bedrooms because they were very bright in the morning! We would absolutely stay here again!

Highly Recommend a Visit

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great friendly welcome from lady at reception. Allocated Room 8 facing the lake, opp where the boats berth. Table and chairs to sit at, with beautiful flower boxes, and to njoy the views. Fabulous spacious room. Comfy bed, coffee machine, fridge. Fabulous breakfasts , fresh croissants,  eggs, hams, coffee and teas, sat outside oo one occasion, also watched a thunder storm over the lake.
Thank you all for a great stay. Highly Recommend staying here. Also a great location for visiting nearby restaurants.  :)  :)

We were graded when we arrived and all the amenities were explained the hostess walked us to us our room and showed us all the features of the room. The room was clean pretty and the air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was marvelous, and staff was very responsive.
Location was right by the train station, which was great as well as by the lake even better.

2 nights in Locarno as part of inter rail trip

Very friendly hotel. Compact and bijou. Ideally situated for train travel, close to the railway. We requested a room with a lake view, and were given a very nice room overlooking the lake, with a tiny balcony, just big enough for a small table and 2 chairs. Amazing view.
Shower was good but quite small. Breakfast room also quite cosy.
