Great hotel

Great hotel, good location, various bus stations nearby, Mobility location, university, Migros, Palazzo Congressi. Friendly staff, coffee from the large espresso machine on request...
Arcobaleno ticket for 5 days included.
I like the 70s charm that the hotel has, e.g. the letters in the breakfast room. We were there in mid-August as a couple for 5 nights, for the 2nd time.

Poor to say the least.

Two nights in May 2026. We enter the room in the afternoon to leave our luggage and then away. We return after 7 pm and the reception is closed and you enter with an entrance on the side. When we go to bed we realize that they have put only one duvet cover for one person in a double bed. No chance to confer with anyone, the hotel looks deserted and the emergency number does not work. We spend the night fighting over sheets. The next day they put the second duvet but on the other hand the WiFi does NOT work. The breakfast is sad and of poor quality even if there is a bit of everything.
Retro Soviet hotel atmosphere in the middle of the Cold War.

A catastrophe

It's after 11pm on April 18th and we can't sleep as management is throwing a party on the ground floor openly mocking customers who paid in advance.

It is a shame for Switzerland. It has long been. arrogance, expenses added without justification. impunity. It is not the person who asks for an explanation by threatening to call the police! Shame on the Swiss people. Not even in Cairo this infamous treatment.

Never again

Reception closed at 5:00 p.m.
Key placed in a box.
No more lunch after 9:30. We were refused at 10:00. And no such in the bedroom. If something happens we can't contact anyone.
Never again.
