Weekend trip

We received a smart box voucher from our Family as a gift. After searching arround for some time we found this nice B&B and decided to spend the weekend there.. Tje voucher comes with a Hamam treatment.
We arrived there and have been welcomed very warm by the owner.
The Hotel is located near Ponte Teresa, 30min away from Lugano right next to the Italian border.
After the welcome we got to experiance the room. It is everything nicely placed and need. Only thing missing is a TV but ok.. thats not an issue as we have a book to read.. Wifi is available.
Next day in the morning we got a nice breakfast and shortly after we had our Hamam treatment. It was really nice and Francois took good care of us. U really felt homely there.
If you are looking for a nice B&B and good atmosphere, we can really recommend to visit La Nave B&B.
PS. Indians are very welcome ;-)

A "ship" in the woods

La Nave (the ship, named after the shape of the main building) is a small boutique hotel perched above the valley that runs runs between Ponte Tresa (near Lugano) in Ticino, Switzerland and Luino, Italy. It is easily accessible by car or train/bus. Once a farm, La Nave has been lovingly restored by the multi-lingual owner and hostess, Françoise Dully It is a perfect place to relax and take walks though the enchanting woodlands surrounding La Nave. The lakeside town of Luino (Italy is only a few minutes away as is Ponte Tresa on Lake Lugano) Luino has a well-known market, good shopping and restaurants and there are some fine grottoes in the hills nearby La Nave, The B&B serves an excellent breakfast (included in the restored farm house dining room and there is a well-equipped wellness room with sauna and hamman (massages available) . The buildings are surrounded by lovely natural gardens and the atmosphere is perfect for a few days of total relaxation. Prices are remarkably modest.

Scoprire il mondo delle "erbacce"

Un'esperienza bellissima in un ambiente familiare e confortevole! Mi si è aperto un mondo: scoprire quanto la Natura ha da offrirci anche con le "erbacce". Consiglio vivamente questa esperienza con la signora Dully :-)

Le charme tessinois dans une maison typique

jardin bucolique très bien arborisé, habitation typique, au calme, en hauteur du village, proche de Ponte Tresa, Agno/Lugano, restaurants typiques dans village voisin accessible en voiture ou à pied, chambres récentes et romantiques, très bien équipées, centre wellness à disposition, accueil chaleureux en italien, français, anglais, etc par la propriétaire et ses fils, petits déjeuners sublimes. On y retourne volontiers en 2019 !

Tranquillità e relax

Luogo tranquillo e caratteristico, personale competente e cortese. Peccato facesse un gran freddo sia in camera che nella sala colazioni. Area Spa piccolina ma molto piacevole. Ideale per un week end rilassante
