Memorable stay at La Grande Maison!

From our arrival, we were touched by Pierrette's welcome and her kindness. She does everything possible to make us feel at home. The place is a true haven of peace, full of charm and perfectly located to discover the magnificent Sion region. We particularly appreciated the comfort of the rooms and the surrounding calm. A magnificent address to recommend without hesitation!

Guesthouse and not a hotel

A guesthouse yes, a boutique hotel no
Pretty building with a panoramic terrace and a friendly garden, the
Bar is nice, the breakfast room is lovely. The owner willingly provides information about walks
But $250 for a night in a room without decor with a shower toilet that resembles a bathroom from a camper van, no hooks for towels,
The pillows are very uncomfortable, the floor is very creaky, and the insulation is not great; you can hear everything said in the neighboring room and the footsteps from the one above
The breakfast is self-service, strawberries right from the cardboard container, the jams are homemade and very good.
There is no reception, so you have to look for someone to get the room and return it
For me, it would be fair to say guesthouse rather than hotel so that we know what to expect, and for me, the price is too high

Wonderful old box with charm!

What a wonderful hotel! I love these old houses where it smells like history in every corner, where no wall is really straight and it sometimes creaks loudly! If you love something like this, this is more than right! The hostess is warm and helps where help is needed. The breakfast lady was the big shot. She makes breakfast and then quickly showed me around the house and told me the whole story. The beds are great, there was no TV in my room (Like home ...) The wifi is ok. The bathroom is a bit tiny, but I didn't expect a spa. Everything was top clean. There is a sauna and a hot tub. I saw it, but I didn't use it. Some rooms have bathtubs and Jacuzzis. Maybe next time! Speaking of which, I'm sure there will be a next time!

Celebrate Christmas differently with the family

Our daughter was finishing her last day of internship at Zion Hospital late on December 24.
At the last minute we decided to go to Savièse to celebrate Christmas with the family.
We had booked two adjacent rooms, both really nice. The contemporary design of the integrated bathroom in the bedroom was simply beautiful and original!
Not having found an available restaurant, we were kindly asked to use a space to enjoy our sushi dinner. Not very traditional for a New Year’s Eve, but honestly, it was different and really nice. Thank you for your attention!
Breakfast was excellent, and quality.
A little note though: a check-in at 5pm is a bit late....

Totally boring and weird
Breakfast was bad and the fridge and facilities dirty.
Not a place where i would stay again
