Restaurant mit ländlichem Charme

Heute Abend haben wir in Sessa dieses Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen und freundlichem, aufmerksamem Service gefunden. Der Innenraum ist freundlich und mit Charme ausgestattet. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen… wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Poor food and service

Stopped here for lunch today. The waiter was off-handish, lukewarm in his demeanour. We order spaghetti bolognese, which is now well-established as a globally recognisable meal. What we were finally served was spaghetti with dried chunks of meat, with no bolognese sauce. When I checked with the waiter whether this was spaghetti bolognese, he confirmed it was, mumbled something that this was how it is prepared. I showed him a picture of the net what spaghetti bolognese looks like and he was dismissive. He later returned with a bowl of tomato sauce. This is afterall Switzerland, food is not cheap, even for mediocre food. Disappointing,

Simple but clean hotel

I did stay in Locanda della Pace for 2 nights. The place is clean, the people are nice and helpfull, the breakfast is simple but of good quality. The room I did had was very small but clean, the only thing is the bed is allmost taking all the room in the room. The big closed in the room isn't allmost not to open because ot the bed etc. If you have a lot of luggage this will be a problem.
The bathroom is simple, but clean.

Gemütlich und fein

Zweimal haben wir im Locanda della Pace gegessen in unseren Herbstferien. Der Service ist gut und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Wir waren in der Wildsaison dort und haben Steinpilzrisotto, Hirschpfeffer und Rehschnitzel gegessen. Aber auch das Piccata mit Risotto war sehr fein.
Speziell serviert wird das Tiramisu in kleinen Einmachgläsern.
Sehr zu empfehlen.
