The Einstein Hotel enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Sankt Gallen, at the edge of the pedestrian zone. It offers a fine dining restaurant and a bar, as well as free WiFi access in the entire building.

Once again, an excellent stay.
After my first stay in 2019, I was now visiting the Einstein St. Gallen for the second time, and I was once again not disappointed. The hotel is located in the heart of St. Gallen, just a few steps from the beautiful old town, making it the ideal starting point for a city trip.
I would particularly like to highlight the exceptionally friendly reception. The staff was very warm from the beginning, and I even promptly received a room upgrade, a wonderful surprise, and thank you for that!
The rooms are rather simple and functional, but they offer everything one needs for a pleasant city trip. Cleanliness and comfort were impeccable.
The parking situation is also very pleasant, as there are plenty of parking spaces available.
A real highlight is the breakfast buffet: a large selection, fresh products, and excellent service. Overall, the entire team deserves great praise; one feels welcome and well taken care of as a guest at all times.
For me, the Einstein remains a clear recommendation for a stay in St. Gallen. I would gladly come back!

Very comfortable room in quiet location. I slept very well, and the room had excellent air conditioning. It was perfect for a business trip. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient.

The Place To Stay (And To Eat) In St. Gallen
The hotel Einstein St. Gallen is a top level hotel in the center of St. Gallen. It boasts very clean and orderly public spaces along with comfortable rooms that are well appointed and well-furnished. The staff is very friendly (no valet to help with luggage though) and certain services (parking and restaurant) are in a separate building that is accessible, if you ask how, by underground passage. The location is excellent, only a few steps away from the beautiful and historic old town (Altstadt) of St. Gallen.
The hotel's two-Michelin star restaurant Einstein Gourmet was not open during our stay but we had a very good and surprisingly elegant dinner at the hotel's Bistro St. Gallen, where we were attended to with great skill by Joerg, whose wine suggestions were also spot on.
We would recommend this hotel as a quite fairly priced, comfortable and pleasant place to spend time in St. Gallen.

Nice place, don’t do laundry there
It is a nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. The arrangement with the spa next door is good. One suggestion is do not have laundry done by them unless you are prepared to pay several hundred dollars for only 8 small items washed.
