Felt like valued guests
Loved our stay in room 204 overlooking the absolutely stunning Engadin mountains and lake St Moritz. Very comfortable bed, fantastic balcony for enjoying the free mini bar (4 drinks and 2 snacks). Modern shower room and separate toilet and sink, with underfloor heating which was handy for drying swimwear after using their sauna and steam room. Cracking views from the top floor spa, great place to relax on reclining chairs. Tasty meals in the Acla restaurant with friendly wait and bar staff. Excellent breakfasts in the beautifully decorated Segantini dining room. Chef cooking your eggs in the room in front of you. Special touches such as chocolate fudges and a welcome card, apples and tea in the spa’s relaxation room, the electric lead perfectly wrapped around the hairdryer went a long way towards feeling special and a valued guest. Immaculately clean everywhere all the time. Location ideally situated in the centre of St Moritz. Souvenir shop next door at the front of the hotel.

The overall package makes it!
Everything has already been written from 1 to 5 stars, about general and very individual experiences. I just spent 3 days at the Schweizerhof and had a wonderful time. I have been working in hotels for 40 years without any interruption, and over the years, I travel more consciously, attentively, and with more experience. For me, every hotel stay (more or less consciously) is always a "little hotel check." I claim to have a sharpened eye and a sensitive sense for what I encounter and experience. I do not look for the hair in the soup, I do not zoom in with my phone camera on the speck of dust, I do not use my personal taste as a standard for hotel room decor; but I also do not succumb to collegial pity.
I booked a junior suite for two with breakfast and was completely satisfied. Yes, prices have risen, yes, one now has to order breakfast coffee in English, yes, visible savings are being made - at the Schweizerhof, they face these challenges and handle them cleverly. Bravo! As a guest, one feels that much of the traditional is preserved, but the connection to modernity is not missed. I would definitely love to come back. The location is AAA, the house is well-maintained, has style and quality, the team is attentive and guest-oriented in every respect, and the guest circle is pleasant. The overall result is simply right. THANK YOU!

Great Hotel in the center of St. Moritz
We just came home from our short stay in the Swiss Alps.
One of the highlights of our trip was our stay at Hotel Schweizerhof. Friendly and professional staff. Very good room with nice view of the city. The view from the terrace is amazing to say the least.
Breakfast is marvelous. Big variety. Specially the egg station.
Highly recommend!

Perfect hotel
The hotel location was perfect close to train station , lake , transportation and reception team was professionals and provided to us all the support and St. Moritz information. The hospitality was excellent , room too clean. Really was a nice experience plus car to pick up / drop us to train station.

A 5 Star Stop
We recently spent four nights at this marvelously located hotel as part of an alumni travel group. The Schweizerhof is centrally located in St. Moritz and provides excellent food in its main dining room for breakfast and dinner, along with outstanding friendly and efficient staff support, especially at the front desk.
Our room was comfortable with natural light from windows on two sides and received daily housekeeping attention. The adjacent bath was always clean and replenished as needed. To get a room with a view of the lake, one had to pay more with our group. While we asked for a room with a view of the lake, all were taken. We had a 1st floor corner room, which the hotel must save for travel groups like ours. The room faced the public square and was noisy throughout the night with traffic and jazz festival music from across the street. Fortunately, I can sleep through anything.
We were not aware the mini-bar was free.
Don't miss the fabulous gift shop out the front door and to the right. A member of our group was mentioning something she had hoped to get while in St. Moritz. A variety of what she wanted was to the left of the cash register. Too bad she missed those items. She not only missed the items, she also missed the gift shop!
Be sure to miss the Acla restaurant. We went our first afternoon and were sorry we did. Although we were the only people in the restaurant, based on the lack of service, you would've thought they were mobbed.
Unfortunately, we were so busy exploring St. Moritz and surrounding areas that we never made it to the spa deck.
In spite of the drawbacks mentioned, the hotel rates 5 stars. It's one of a kind and totally charming!
