A quiet and beautiful overnight stay in Stein am Rhein

We really enjoyed the stay at the Hotel Rheingerbe. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Although the hotel is an original old building on the outside, the rooms are nicely decorated and have all the comforts. The only minor point was that there is no elevator.

Overlooking the Rhine River, and also being right in the center of the old town made this an ideal location. The facility itself, while modernized inside, retains the charm of being a very old and classic structure. Parking was convenient and it was easy enough to unload luggage, then park about 100 meters away. Breakfast was terrific with hot meal options cooked to your desire. No elevator, so just be prepared for this.
