Business lunch

The cozy terrace and the beautiful interior invite you to linger. The friendly and warm greeting makes you feel immediately welcome and very comfortable in the Bären Sumiswald. The extremely friendly staff look after the guests very well. The food is extremely delicious and there are some very nice wines on the wine list. Keep up the good work!!!!

Wonderful hotel and staff

We had such a special stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. Comfortable room and facilities. The breakfast was great with a number of choices- fresh local ingredients. Would love to stay again.

Overnight stay

A very affordable and comfortable place to spend a night or a week. Conveniently located close to a local bus route and the lake. Staff were very helpful and the meals were great. The only downside is that there are no lifts if you score one of the upstairs rooms

Herzliche Gastfreundschaft

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, schöne Location und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Speisekarte ist gross und vielseitig, die Weinkarte ist umfangreich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir waren auf einer Velotour und kommen bestimmt wieder. ;)

Mit dem Basler Harley Chapter zu Besuch

Ein wunderbarer urchiger Landgasthof im schönen Emmental. Ausgezeichnete Bedienung, motivierte MitarbeiterInnen und ein guter Chef mit Humor. Perfektes Essen und im ganzen Hause eine gute Stimmung. Parkplatz vor dem Hause wo wir 22 Bikes abstellen konnten. Alles passt, es fehlt an nichts
