Mention +++++ for the staff!

After completing the Tour du Ruan, I had one last night left in the valley before returning. I chose this Pension for its proximity to the train station and the small supermarket right next door, as well as for its very interesting Award of 110€.
On arrival, I preferred to wait a little half an hour outside to have to deal with a human rather than an electronic box, and so I could meet Vaï who welcomed me warmly...
The room assigned to me was probably the smallest but I lacked nothing and I particularly liked the offbeat decor. Solo, it was more than enough, and the large bed very comfortable allowed me to spend a very good night relaxing!
Since I had to catch the train at 8:06 in the morning, it was impossible for me to enjoy the breakfast included in the Reservation, and this is where the friendliness of the staff comes into its own! Vaï left a message for her morning colleague so I could have coffee to take away for the trip. The next day, Emma welcomed me warmly, serving me a delicious coffee and concocting a small picnic to take away for my breakfast. I thank them both so much for their attention, thoughtfulness and service. A true Swiss welcome with a scent of southern France, it is appreciable and I will keep an unforgettable memory and gratitude!
In short, a flawless experience for me!

Very bad room

The room on the 1st floor at 149 francs is of a very poor standard:
- Lamps whose lighting is insufficient: type 30 Watt old, we thought we were in a prison!!
-Small shower room and also poorly lit.
-No armchair
No wardrobe, a camping clothing rack...
- 1 blind window overlooking the courtyard.
Everything is ill-conceived and like a prison cell.
It's unacceptable to rent this room.
We will never come back to this Pension... never!!!

I advise!

There was a very friendly atmosphere , a beautiful view of the mountains, from the restaurant. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is very good. I advise you to come and spend a stay here. Ideal for relaxing and changing your mind.

Hotel without soul and not worth by far its price

Hotel without soul, far too expensive for what it is worth and the Peanut Lodge concept I imagined fun is non-existent. The room (deluxe) is very small and the exteriors noisy, the bathroom is on a motorhome concept (1.5m2 max) and the soap dispenser but-showers did not work. Fortunately a small PAM store is nearby where I bought a shower gel...
Room service was not done during the stay!?!, breakfast without choice, empty juices... enough to feed but no more..
The restaurant that had a good reputation was closed even though we had been informed of its opening on July 1, the lounge 24/7 closed also .. so no interest to be in this dead village, except for the garbage truck that collects garbage under the windows of the hotel at 5:55... in short this hotel has no interest, better stay in Champéry

The most experiencie!!!

Just a great experience!! My family and I have had a great time, we've never been to a hotel with automatic checking! It's a great idea! The girl in the cafeteria a love! The super comfy beds! We came from Spain and were delighted!
