Disappointed
This hotel has all the things required to be a great hotel. Possibly geared up for winter trade but our visit in the summer was very
disappointing for the price and the expectation the website portrays.
Firstly getting parked and making it to the hotel is a challenge with no signage (car park is an additional €20 per night). The rooms are lovely with great views, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, mini bar was empty, no A/C.
We were told the restaurants were: the lounge bar serving salad or burger, or the pizza restaurant in the resort next door, both very limited. On our last night we discovered that the main restaurant was now open, again a
very limited menu but at least the food was Good.
The outside is best described as: would look good in the snow. There is a building site joined on, there are building materials laying around, and the patios and walkways are incomplete, bordering unsafe. No maintenance looks to be carried out.
The spa is nothing to do with the hotel and is pricey for what appears to be a very busy spa for all surrounding resorts and locals.
The biggest let down was breakfast, after 0900, there is very little left, no hot food, you have to request a clean coffee cup, all milks and juices are finished and you have to ask for them to be refilled.

Our stay at The Eringer Hotel in Hérémence was nothing short of exceptional—but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the food. The kitchen team exceeded expectations, with each dish crafted to perfection.
A special mention must go to the incredibly talented pastry chef, Isabel. Her desserts are a work of art, infused with patience, passion, and love. Her cheesecake creation is absolutely to die for—a masterpiece of flavor and texture.
The apricot sorbet was a delightfully refreshing treat, perfectly capturing the essence of the region.
Isabel’s chocolate salami was something entirely different and exciting—a playful twist that impressed everyone at the table.
And let’s not forget breakfast. The buffet featured Isabel’s homemade granola, paired with her homemade apricot compote and a luscious four-fruit compote. It was, quite honestly, heavenly—a perfect way to start the day.
If you’re visiting Hérménence, Valais, The Eringer Hotel is a must—and try Isabel’s desserts. A truly remarkable culinary experience in an idyllic place.

Expensive waste of time instead of couple recreation
Expensive waste of time instead of couple recreation – Nice facility, poor service
The hotel infrastructure is new, modern and clean. We were looking forward to a child-free weekend as a couple to really relax – instead, unfortunately, the stay was an expensive waste of time.
We spent most of our time waiting: At first the room card didn't work, then the hairdryer, which is actually part of the room facilities, was missing. Despite personal request at reception and additional phone call, it took us over an hour to receive a hairdryer. At the bar we waited half an hour for someone to come and after ordering another hour for the snack (Croque Monsieur for 30CHF). The cappuccino for 7 CHF was a lukewarm milk broth without foam. There is also a lack of loungers in the thermal bath, and you cannot relax. There is a relaxation room, but it is much too small, and you can only stay in it for 15min. Particularly disappointing: At checkout, our criticism of the waiting times was ignored. At these prices, the value for money is insufficient.

Hotel located next to the baths .charming welcome and explanatory rooms with magnificent view( optimum room on the top floor.Direct access to the baths (chargeable ) discount if staying at the hotel. entrance Covered parking with direct access ,ask for the code when booking because not connection Very good restaurant Direct access to the ski slopes Magnificent baths with heated outdoor baths and very beautiful polar and sensory hot room
