Tranquility and originality

This place is worth discovering; it still carries the weight of industrial history and demonstrates that one can renew oneself in adversity…
The setting is very pleasant and calm; the terrace is nice with sails for shade, the roof by a small "stream."
The service can be improved; it is average.
The food is really good, the dishes are varied and original with a little Italian touch.
During my short stay, I particularly appreciated the variety of the daily menus.
A major downside is the hotel breakfast,
which is not up to par, frugal with industrial juices, little or no choice, and the buffet was empty at 8:00 AM.
I specify that I am rating the restaurant here and not the hotel breakfast buffet, which I would have rated **
So let's return to the restaurant menu; I fell in love with the perch fillets accompanied by slices of apples in Calvados, garden vegetables, and… black gnocchi (with cuttlefish ink).
It was truly as original as it was delicious.
As for the price, it is very reasonable.
Would I return? Yes, certainly for the restaurant, but definitely not for the breakfast.

Quiet location and industrial charm.

Approx. 15 km from Lake Zurich, the Bleichibeiz welcomes you with industrial charm. The site was formerly a cotton weaving mill. If you like creaky wooden stairs, this is the place for you. The complex includes, among other things, a hotel, restaurant, bar, a wellness center, a gym, and a studio. I have not seen the mirror hallway like this before. Parking directly in front of the house was sometimes tight, probably due to the wellness customers. Breakfast was just standard. The house is not on the main road, therefore it is quiet. Hiking in the surrounding area is possible.

Great hotel, used to be an industrial building. Rooms very creative and spacious. Prices tiptop. Nice morning buffet

What’s with the early morning music?

We arrived late due to work schedule, got in bed about 1am - we were in room 115 - at 5:30am music was pounding through the walls or floor - I don’t know where it was coming from - I walked along the corridor but couldn’t locate the source of the music so I suspect it was from upstairs - and it remained like this for the rest of the morning so I spent the rest of the morning twisting and turning and eventually got back to sleep at 8:30, slept until my roommate woke me up to tell me breakfast finished at 10, so I had approximately 5 minutes to get some breakfast which consisted of a few slices of bread and some sad remnants of cheese. Not a happy experience. I did go down to reception and met a cleaner at 6am so I complained and she followed me back up to outside the room but I didn’t want to disturb my room mate who managed to sleep through most of it so I couldn’t share the experience properly. I wouldn’t be recommending the first floor to anyone especially if you’re a light sleeper.

Food service sensational Room too noisy

I don't believe it. Fantastic food, very friendly staff but very noisy room. Room 112 I moved into at 11.00 p.m., very loud back-and-forth sliding from above. At midnight it was still not over, probably they were practicing for a marathon. I would never book the room again. I need my rest at night. Our club moved into 6 rooms, one on the left, where mine was, the other on the right, they just had pure peace. I was cycling in the morning.
