Nice terrace. Delicious meat!

When I booked a table for dinner over the phone, I asked inside. On May 31, it was beautiful weather. So I was told it was everyone out there! Okay, I dressed warmly and we loved our meal on the terrace, outside, at the end of May, in the mountains. Exceptional for me who is chilly!
The setting is magnificent. The terrace is nice. The staff was very disorganized - I think for the first time outside the season ... Fortunately, we arrived early and were quickly served. A well presented aperitif. The Rindsfilet was delicious! We quickly ate our desserts because the sky suddenly darkened and the storm threatened. The bill came in false and we paid for it unchecked. Once we realized our mistake, no free waiter to go to our table and we did not want to be flushed. I then explained my problem by email and the difference was refunded. Thank you very much for accepting!
I wonder how the rest of the service went - customers had to keep eating inside. How the staff knew who ordered what. It can't be the only time this happens, but it's a bit of a nuisance.
Thank you for this evening outdoors! I wouldn't have dared to book this season outside but I loved my time before the rain on your terrace.

Amazing hotel and fantastic view

We loved our 4 night stay at Hotel Schöenegg !
It's a beautiful hotel in alpine style nestled in the heart of Wengen - 10 mn walking distance from the station.
Our Suite was fantastic, large and with an amazing view on the Jungfrau. Very clean too !
We also had a large balcony.
The breakfasts and service are excellent.
We were walking distance to everything. The cable car to Maanlichen is in front - 3 mn walking distance.
The staff is very professional and very welcoming.
We recommend staying here !

Lovely hotel close to the train station and town, without a large uphill climb. Our morning view was beautiful, breakfast was wonderful, and the bed was comfy. Air conditioning isn't standard in Wengen, but we had a small fan in our room which helped on warm afternoons. We would recommend this hotel.

We booked a top floor suite and while it was nice, the accommodations were not luxurious. The room was a bit rustic and had the feel of a basic mountain lodge. However, the views from our room from the outside balcony were spectacular and the staff was wonderful with a special mention concerning Maria at the front desk.

Excellent hotel with best Mountain View

Excellent boutique hotel. Best Mountain View from room. Great service by staff. Free pickup and drop off to train station.
