Great stay - east transport.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel as part of our Rhine River cruise package. Hotel is in the suburbs of Zurich, but the tram runs along the front of the hotel, taking you directly, about 10 minutes to the central railway station terminus, runs about every 10-15 minutes. About 50 metres from the hotel (to the right of the hotel exit) is a fully loaded supermarket that stocks all the essentials for a fresh continental breakfast. Opens from early in the morning to late, Monday to Saturday. When closed on Sundays, catch the tram travelling away from the city to the tram terminus (does a u-turn) to another supermarket that is open on Sundays.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were comfortable and had a free minibar in room with water, soda, beer, peanuts and a chocolate. I forgot something in my room and staff went above and beyond to find and hold it for me until I returned to the city. Conveniently located with nearby shops, restaurants and dining. Walking path near by as well. Loved the loaner bag to use as I explored the city and other little touches. I only wish I had more time there!

Great hotel! Comfortable service, personal and charming attitude, delicious food and excellent location.

The service was super comfortable and professional, and the attitude from the staff was warm and hearty. The food was really delicious and the location was just perfect and accessible to everything.

Airco sounds like an airplane

If you ask almost €400 per room per night, pls. at least take care that the airconditiong works well. It makes as much noise as an airplane and if you turn it off it gets warm as a sauna inside the room. So I ended up with the airco turned off and the window open and still paying almost €400. Ridiculous. Won’t return in this place.

The overall experience has been very good. The room was fairly small compared to hotels in North America but I guess that is understandable given real estate value in Switzerland. However, I would definitely recommend the hotel.
