Perfect Location in Zurich

Lovely & accommodating staff. The location was so amazing, nearby are so many lovely & local boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, and larger designer brand shops as well.

Excellent experience

An excellent hotel in the center of Zurich, very close to the central station and the historic center. The rooms are furnished in a modern way, the breakfast is excellent and the staff is very kind. They offered us a free pass for the Kunsthaus museum, truly surprising, to be visited. We happened to be in Zurich probably during the hottest week of the year. In our room, a "studio" in the attic, the air conditioning system struggled a bit. We notified them, and they promptly installed an additional air conditioner in our room, which resolved the situation. It is a 3-star hotel, but it is worth more.

Perfect little spot with everything you expect and more!

I can’t say enough about this cute little hotel in Old Town Zurich! The ladies at the front desk are lovely and incredibly helpful. The rooms are perfectly appointed, modern and comfortable, including AC during an incredible heatwave. They include free breakfast and offer very reasonable hotel transfers. Their location is superb- quick walk to the train station and all the sights of the old town and lake. I will definitely be coming back!

Official rating 3 star, but 5 star experience.

From the moment we arrived to check in it was an exceptionally pleasant experience. Reception staff made an exta effort to assist us. Personal guidance to our suite and baggage assistance made it all so easy, then, our accommodation was a pleasant surprise, being exactly as advertised. It was spacious and spotlessly clean. We soon realised that the calm quiet feeling was due to double glazing.
The hotel is perfectly located, tram transport on the street below, cafes etc just a block away and a supermarket just 10mins walk. Central bus and rail station a further 5 mins walk.
Ensite restaurant provided an extensive breakfast with some cooked options as well as the typical continental choices, and was also available for lunch through to dinner with a reasonably varied choice of meals.
Personal assistance was also provided at check out when a local road closure disruption caused some angst. Staff went above and beyond expectations to assist and ensure a departure that was stress free.
We would have no hesitation to stay here again and would certanly reccommend this hotel to others.

Excellent Stay

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at St. Josef hotel for a week from 30 January to 06 February 2026 and truly enjoyed every moment. What made our stay especially memorable was the exceptional staff—everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Every request we made was handled promptly and efficiently, always with a gracious smile.
We would like to extend our special thanks to Navneet for her kindness and warmth, as well as to the other staff members—unfortunately, we did not catch their names.
We are sincerely grateful for the outstanding hospitality and would be delighted to return.
