Fun for all

My 3 teenagers enjoyed the hot springs more than anything. If you don’t have a swim cap, you can buy one. Towels are furnished. There are wet and dry saunas in addition to the approximately 15 different hot pools. There is also the fish eating dead feet skin soaking pool. There is a water activity area for smaller children that includes a small waterslide. The hotel room itself is large and lovely. The bathroom is decent size. The room is clean. The breakfast is above and beyond. Highly recommend.

The room is clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. Bathing feels great!

The lobby is ordinary, but the rooms are clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and hot spring pool are also clean and spacious, with a large amount of water, excellent shower heads, and a very smooth shower! The breakfast and buffet dinners have rich dishes, fresh seafood, and delicious food! The public hot spring pool has a variety of different types of soup, which is quite good! The children's paddling pool allows the children to have a lot of fun! The children's play area is not big, but there are electric cars and a small ball pit, so children can have a lot of fun!

Perfect for families, good value and great facilities and location.

Family room for our family of 2 adults 3 kids. Large double beds, and more than enough floor space to roll out our camping mattress for youngest child. Huge bathtub in room. I really like the room as it was huge and spacious and clean with lovely clean sheets and towels.
The hotel itself is perfect for families. A very large hotel, with fantastic hot springs facilities combined with water play area for kids. The kids loved it. All sorts of hot springs too (the red wine one was most questionable!) and kids enjoyed the fish nibbling at feet spa pool. Remember to bring swimsuit and a swimming cap (though we got away with plastic shower caps)
The breakfast buffet spread was amazing. We had a good time enjoying the various food, which also included a lot of salad and fruits.
The play area is heaven for our 5-6 year old child. Car rides and slides etc. but there was an age limit. Our eldest wasn’t allowed in there as she was 10, v disappointing for her.
The hotel cannot be better located. Just round the corner from the train station! And on the road with lots of great small eateries. We enjoyed it so much.
Jiaoxi might have lots of conflicting reports— garish, a little tacky, but I found it wonderfully lively, better maintained, than Hualien. Also, amazing hikes. The hike to matcha Mountain was 5 stars, and that’s just the main path up. Lots of other alternate routes up that are challenging, fun, and very beautiful. Linmei shipan trail of waterfalls also easily accessible (less than NT200 for one way taxi ride there), an easy trail which leads to more difficult ones up various mountains including matcha Mountain. Will return to this hotel. Really good value for money, friendly helpful staff, good facilities in a Taiwan hot spring town.

A buffet of hot springs to choose from, even for young kids!

Our second time staying there. Just a perfect place for both adults and young kids together. The outdoor pool and the heated water for kids are perfect. The staff were generally great, although be sure to bring your booking info if rooms are booked outside of their website. We were given a hard time at check-in, but the variety of hot springs soothed all that anger :).
