Convenient and Clean Hotel

Good location, clean room, good Housekeeping. Resting area for free coffee and tea while waiting driver to send us to airport. Will come back to this hotel again.

Definitely not recommend it

I only stayed here for one night, but it felt far from ideal. Around 3:00 p.m., I was waiting for my room, but it kept getting delayed, and I finally received the room at around 4:30 p.m. The hotel building is difficult to find—it's on the 11th floor of a mixed-use building. You only see the hotel room numbers for floors 10 and 11 when you enter the lobby of that building.
The hotel’s lobby on the 11th floor was very untidy. In the waiting area for check-in, there were already a few large cockroaches. The room has no windows, and it felt damp, old, and not clean. Luckily, it was only one night—but my sleep quality was extremely poor.
The only good thing is that it’s very close to the Taipei transportation hub, with lots of places to eat nearby. The price isn’t cheap, and overall, I would definitely not recommend it.

Honest Review for Hotel Relax 1

My stay at Hotel Relax 1 was unfortunately the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
The cleanliness was a major issue throughout. The toilet was in a horrible state and clearly not maintained properly, which made it very uncomfortable to use. The room itself was also not very clean, and to make matters worse, I encountered cockroaches during my stay.
Security was another concern. The building is shared with other occupants, and there didn’t seem to be any proper control or measures in place, which made the environment feel unsafe. On top of that, the room door sometimes could not be closed securely, which only added to the concern.
I also find it questionable that there are many 5 star reviews, as it seems they may be influenced by the offer of free gifts rather than actual experience.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor hygiene standards, lack of security, and overall unpleasant stay.

100 points, except for the shower.

It was inconvenient because I couldn't get the shower head, but one beer was free and you could drink all you wanted.
