Relaxing accommodation space
The first time we stayed in a guesthouse, because the host operates only a group of guests at a time, the whole house is only for us two, and because of this, more relaxed to enjoy the whole space.
The room is on the first floor, not large, but the bathroom equipment is fully equipped, the bed is enlarged, sleeping two people will not be more disturbing than this, due to the lack of housing around the house, both nights sleep well.
Living room, kitchen on the second floor, this is the most relaxing space of the entire accommodation, the space is very large, to sit, to lie down, to listen to music, glass windows are large and very clean, outside the window is a peaceful natural landscape, on the other side there is a couch, half-outdoors bath is another option for people who like nature.
In the evening, climbing to the third floor, lying on a chair, blowing a cold wind, although it was a little cold, but chatting with the other half was also kind. Luckily, at the end of the clouds opened, the little starry sky let us live in the city constantly surprise.
B&B self-catering, but the next morning the owner serves breakfast and can still talk to the owner, originally living room and kitchen design on the 2nd floor to give guests a better view of meal hours.
In short, it was a memorable stay experience.

an amazing stay
This is really a gem on the coastal shore of Taitung. The villa is located on a slope, surrounding with the pineapples field. The building itself is a nature-oriented, fair-faced concrete one. Living room and a small kitchenette is on the second floor, which has big windows facing the ocean. The terrace on the rooftop provides 360 panorama toward the ocean as well as the mountain hill behind the villa, where ppl practice Yoga or Taichi under sunshine or moonlight. There is also a beautiful garden with all kinds of fruit trees and flowers. You can smell different fragrances in the air. You'd better stay here for two nights or more to enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness. Although there is not many choice of restaurant in this area, you may bring your food to the villa. The host will provide breakfast, if he is available (we didn't meet the host, since he was out of town.) It's better to have a car or rent one, but some people also came here by bus. (I do think driving or motorcycling is the best way to explore in Taitung .) Highly recommended.

Nice villa, nice host, highly recommend!
My husband and I spent two nights in David’s Villa in October 2013. We enjoyed every minute there and would highly recommend it.
We were surprised that we just had to pay regular hotel price but could use the whole villa completely without sharing it with other people. The place was very clean both inside and outside and the rooms were well decorated and new. The villa is located on a hill and from the living room and dining room and the terrace we could see the ocean, blue sky, and a lot of green trees and hills. Just beautiful! We also saw a lot of stars when we stood in the garden during the night. We were lucky!
David made breakfast himself and most ingredients were from his farm. It was so fresh and delicious. David’s breakfast is definitely one of the reasons to make us want to come and visit again!

Peaceful & Tranquility
Stayed at David’s 3D2N early November 2017. The villa is on a hill that offers awesome view of Pacific Ocean. There’s not much development nearby so it’s very private and peaceful. The villa itself was impeccable. David really takes really good care of it and it shows. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. We would definitely stay here again when in Taitung.

Best place we've ever stayed in Taiwan- and in a few other countries!
I was a bit sad we only booked this place for 1-night, but I'm really happy that we'll be heading back soon. The physical location is gorgeous. You're nestled at the foothills but close enough to a beautiful private black sand beach (15-min walk). At night, the view of the stars is breathtaking. David was a great host- he popped into the place in the morning to make us breakfast, and hooked up my girlfriend's friend with a last minute request for a private surfing lesson- which he called up a friend and arranged in no time. The actual space is really elegant and minimalist design and a great use of space. The yard is well manicured, the rooms are comfy and cozy, and the living area is really ideal for friends & family gathering for games, food, drink, or just conversation. Overall, we were incredibly happy and would recommend this to anyone wanted something special at a great value. You really won't be disappointed- in fact you'll be incredibly happy and yearning to go back.
