Wonderful.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a week. Unforgettable place. Apart from Jambiani beach, breathtaking, but also the hotel is no exception. Small, quiet, family run. Rooms always spotless. You feel at home. Valentina, Roberto and Dario are wonderful, always attentive and helpful. Last but not least, you eat really well!!! Barbara

Hospitality, cuisine, and sea view: simply perfect

We stayed at TheSpot during our trip to Zanzibar and fell in love with it.
The property is splendid, overlooking the sea directly, and our room with a sea view gave us truly unforgettable awakenings. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Jambiani.
The restaurant deserves a separate mention: eating here was one of the most beautiful surprises of the vacation. We decided to have all our meals at TheSpot and would make the same choice a thousand times over. Every day, very fresh fish was offered, cooked with care and enhanced by quality ingredients. Every dish was delicious.
But what makes this place truly special are Roberto and Valentina. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with a warmth and spontaneity that made us feel immediately at home. They are two exceptional people, always present, helpful, and attentive, capable of creating a family atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere. The same goes for all their staff, always smiling, kind, and professional.
During our vacation, we also visited other areas of the island and saw different hotels, but if we could go back, we would change only one thing: we would spend the entire vacation here. TheSpot is not simply a place to sleep; it is one of those places that stay in your heart and make a trip truly special.

Spectacular

We stayed at this hotel for 2 and a half months, what about, we found ourselves at home, delicious food done everything at the time, always clean room, very nice and relaxing beach, managers Roberto and Valentina always ready to grant any wish, and what about Dario their son, a wonderful child.
In short, we will definitely return.

Small Gem Hotel in Perfect Jambiani Location

We had a wonderful stay at The Spot Hotel in Jambiani and would absolutely recommend it.
It’s a great small hotel run by a lovely Italian couple who clearly care a lot about the property and their guests. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning in all rooms. They also have a power generator, which is a huge plus and honestly a must in Zanzibar.
The central village location is a big plus — just minutes from local restaurants and shops. The beach area is really nice, with sunbeds and shade, and there’s a cute pool that’s perfect to refresh in during low tide. The whole place has a great relaxed, beachy feel.
The owners, Roberto and Vale, are incredibly helpful and kind. They are always there if you need anything, help with every small detail, but never feel intrusive — which we really appreciated.
The food is very good, the staff are lovely and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home. It’s quiet, feels very safe, and is perfect if you want to relax and enjoy Jambiani without noise or crowds.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely come back!

Cozy place at the beach

The Spot is right on the beach, literally few meters from you. We picked the sea view room and was amazed by the view every morning when you wake up. Is also easy to jump in your room when you forget something. For the kids it was also easy and comfortable to hang out around the hotel and in the pool. We really like the option for extra long walks on the beach, the low tides with walks into the ocean, the constant breeze keeping mosquitos away. The breakfast was excellent, the room and cleaning service great. the owners are super nice and friendly, easy going. We were not sure at the beginning if this hotel will be safe as it belongs to smaller once but it was perfectly fine and we actually enjoyed the authenticity around, our kids playing with local kids and the overall calm in that area. Changing after 8 days here to Nungwi was quite a shock. Next time we rather stay in Jambiani again :)
