Wonderful

I like everything, the position on the oceanfront but at the same time close to shops and everything you need, the kitchen is very very good, the staff is attentive and nice, the hotel is clean with large, spacious rooms, equipped with everything you need! For me, the dream location, thank you to the management for a successful vacation

⚠️ Serious Safety Concern – Please Read Before Booking

I had a terrifying experience during my stay here that I feel I must share so other travelers are aware.
At 1:12 AM, while I was awake doing some online shopping for a friend, I suddenly heard noises. At first, I thought it was coming from the floor above, so I didn’t pay much attention. But moments later, I saw a hand coming through my window.
I was a woman traveling alone in Zanzibar, and in that moment I was absolutely terrified. I immediately started screaming and calling for help. I reached out to the receptionist, Hamir, because he had previously shared his WhatsApp number in a climate group. He told me something that shook me even more: I was the only guest in the entire hotel.
Can you imagine how I felt, realizing I was alone in a whole hotel in a foreign country, with someone trying to break into my room?
Eventually, the manager came and explained that there are sometimes thieves, but this made me even more uneasy. If I was the only guest, how did the intruder know exactly which room was occupied? That question still haunts me.
After the incident, I was moved to another room to spend the rest of the night. The following morning, I left directly to the airport.
The worst part is that beyond relocating me, no one offered real help, protection, or accountability. I was left to deal with the fear and uncertainty completely on my own, and a "This is Africa" from the hotel manager...
This is not a minor inconvenience—it is a serious security failure. The hotel should immediately review its staff, its security measures, and ensure no guest ever has to go through what I experienced.
The hotel itself may look beautiful, but beauty does not matter if you do not feel safe. Until safety is taken seriously, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
I am sharing my story, along with pictures, so that others—especially solo travelers—can stay safe.
