one night nightmare
There's no restaurant or any drink in the resort (except for the bottle of water in the refrigerator in your room) and if you want lunch or dinner, you will have to search it on your own in the area.
There's not a single member of the staff (a Burmese family of 4) that speaks a single word of English (and apparently not a lot of Thai as well) which makes it very hard or impossible to communicate. The 'resort' is still under construction (with all the nice sounds of workers cutting metal with a grinder all day) and is nicely located on the bank of a river but do not expect to go for a swim or have some fun in the river as the current (after 9.30am) in the river is way too strong.
Do not expect any kind of choice in breakfast. Our breakfast was a bowl of rice-soup and an instant coffee or a hot chocolate which was made by a construction worker who just moments before was cutting metal with a grinder (you cannot make this up)
We booked (via Booking.com) and sadly had to prepay in advance for 4 nights for 2 rooms but managed to 'escape' the next morning to another hotel. We hope that booking.com will help/assist us to get some money back of the 3 remaining and already payed nights.
The hotel is way too expensive for the return they give.
Stay far far away from this scam.
