Stunning views

We have just spent 3 days on Koh Yaoyai staying at this hotel which was fabulous. Our room had an amazing view across to Hong Island and we were able to watch the sunrise from the open air restaurant area. Bon our host was so helpful and friendly, we hired a scooter via the resort and she also arranged a private trip to Hong Island which picked us up from the beach just below the hotel. Pick up and drop off was easy to arrange. Although alcoholic drinks were not available there are local shops nearby that do sell beer etc. We would definitely recommend hiring a scooter to make the most out of visiting this beautiful island.

A breathtaking view

Superb location of chalets comfortable shower & bathtub, but the view is breathtaking not overlooked

Wake up to the ocean — peaceful, spotless, and cat-friendly

We loved our stay at Esmeralda View on Koh Yao Yai. The view from the bed straight out to the open sea is insane — sunrise from your pillow, waves in the background, pure calm.
Breakfast is huge, freshly prepared, and truly more than enough for everyone. The whole place is super clean and the team is genuinely kind and helpful.
Bonus for animal lovers: around 20 resident house cats roam the resort. They’re gentle, cuddly, and don’t scratch or bite — just lots of purrs and head bumps.
It’s a quiet, slightly remote location (which we loved), and you can rent a scooter right on site to explore the island. Fresh fruit from their own plantation is free to pick up — such a nice touch.
If you’re looking to switch off, wake up to ocean views, and be surrounded by sweet cats and great people, this is the spot. Would absolutely come back.

Everything is fine!

A super cute hotel/bungalow ! Remember but there is no air conditioning to the people who are used to it. Fan only. Super clean and very very friendly! I loved it here!

Favorite for this hotel and this island!

A real favorite for this Resort. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking. Peaceful, a little windy, the food is excellent and the welcome smiling.
The bungalow view on wall was a little gem.
I already dream of going back.
Scooter available.
