Quite a few really good places to choose from in terms of restaurants and coffee spots. Quiet at night. Lovely ambiance.

I am not sure why but the compound was dark when I arrived at 10pm. Even the lights at the lobby were off. There seemed to be one staff on duty - a guard who also did the check in for me. I stayed in a guest house before and maybe my expectations were off.
I left without staying despite having paid in full.

An exceptional stopover: Our second crush at Baan Vajra

For our second stay at Baan Vajra, the magic worked again. It is rare to find an address in Bangkok that so accurately combines authentic charm with such quality service.
From the moment we arrived, we were touched by the warm and attentive welcome of the team, a benevolence that has not wavered throughout our stay. It’s this feeling of being “at home”, while enjoying top-of-the-line amenities, that makes this establishment strong.
The rooms, a haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city, offer remarkable comfort and a neat decoration. In the morning, breakfast is a privileged moment: complete, varied and tasty, it allows to recharge the batteries before going to explore the city.
Finally, the excellent geographical location of Baan Vajra is a major asset. Nestled in a strategic area, it makes it easy to shine in the Thai capital while offering absolute calm once back.
It is an address that we recommend without any hesitation and we already have only one desire: put our bags back there very quickly!

It is super cute and authentic, and I wish the advent mentioned how incredible the food is. We didn’t even know they served lunch and paid barely anything for some of the best Thai food ever. Staff were helpful, rooms are quaint and clean. We started off in a very small room but we’re still happy. Added an extra night and all that was available was the larger room with a balcony. Would 100% recommend those rooms. Spacious, bright and full of character. Only negatives were the lighting at night (one of our party tripped and hurt their knee) and the size of the pool. It’s a very tiny pool. Hot tub sized but cold. With all of this in mind, this is still a full 5 star experience an d the value is tremendous.

The staff were really friendly and our room was gorgeous! Lovely area to sit and have breakfast. It was also so quiet
