Good hotel and good position
I've enjoyed stay in this hotel. Good breakfast, spacious room and clean.
The receptionists are very useful and kind and the best of them was Guitar always ready to help.

It was okay
I had a decent stay at ibis. We stayed in July 2026 for 2 nights. We couldn't justify the 94$/night room rate for the amenities we had.
The view is amazing. It was really peaceful. Breakfast was decent. I'm not sure if there's a gym, but I didn't check it out.
The staff is okay, they weren't warm. Probably the coldest I've experienced from all the hotels I've been to in BKK.
The room didn't justify the cost. There was water leaking off the ac thing, we didn't bother with it because we noticed it a night before check out.
The bathroom/shower is tiny. Water spills out when you're showering cuz of the awkward triangle shape of the shower. If you're a big bodied person, it might be uncomfortable. And the water seepage out side the shower is also uncomfortable.
Lots of noisy kids roaming in the elevator with the luggage trolley.
The pool was pretty.
There was free shuttle bus to drop us to ICONSIAM or a BTS, I forgot which one. That was nice. It's close to ICONSIAM, 15 mins walk. Lots of massage places also. But I don't think I'd return to this place. It just didn't feel justified for the cost.

A Wonderful Stay at ibis Bangkok Riverside! ✨
As a solo female traveler, I had such a wonderful stay at ibis Bangkok Riverside! The hotel is clean, comfortable, safe, peaceful, and the staff is absolutely incredible. ✨
A special shoutout to Beam, who was super friendly, helpful, and attentive to all of my needs. Kook was sweet, and Fung gets an A+ for helping me lug all of my heavy luggage to my Grab ride.
What I loved most about this hotel is that it is truly problem-free. I had a small issue with my first room, and they switched me to another room hassle-free. They even called to check in and make sure the second room was perfect. Now THAT is customer service!
The rooms are quiet and include a safe, and every question I had was answered with kindness and patience. The maintenance team and housekeeping staff were also simply lovely. And listen… I can be a little much when I travel, I’ll admit it! But everyone was smiling and helpful the entire time.
The pool is lovely the river view is really cool and the hotel is perfect for solo travelers, families, and content creators on a budget who still want to capture some cute B-roll footage. ✨ It’s also within walking distance of ICONSIAM, which is a huge plus!
I would definitely book this hotel again. Thank you so much to the entire team for making my solo trip amazing!
