Do not expect too much...a place where to stay for just a couple of nights

The room was quite poor, with very old and sometimes broken furniture. The curtain was not long enough to fully cover the window. The air conditioning was very noisy. Some small ants strolling around both in the toilets and in the room.
The staff at the reception was kind and helpful. The room was clean. I paid 55 euros for 3 nights, so I cannot complain. I am fully satisfied.

Very low standard hotel!

We stayed here for one night as we wanted to travel from the nearby train station early the next day. So our stay was only for around 9 hours to sleep. I guess you get what you pay for. This place really is the pits. The carpet was stained, towels stained, mould on the walls and shower curtain, smelly, dirty toilet, dirty doors that haves turned yellow the paint is so old. The air conditioning unit stank when we switched it on so I doubt it has ever been cleaned. And there was a balcony with an extremely low wall that is certainly not safe for adults, never mind children. The electric also cut out which meant the lift was out and on the 13th floor it wasn’t ideal. Perhaps 50 years ago it was a modern bustling hotel, but nothing has been updated since then by the looks of it. It was like something from a horror movie to be honest.

Bit overpriced (nothing of interest in the vicinity)

It is in Bangkok, right. But it is at a place where there is nothing of interest. Fortunately, the railway station is close by and you can go to other places of interest easily. The staff does not speak English, so expect no helpful information if you don't speak Thai. Though the receptionist tried her best to give me some information, I failed to understand anything.
The street view from the hotel was good. It was located just half kilometer from the Krung Thon buri railway station. There is nothing to complain but nothing to be delighted about either. The receptionist arranged to speak to a taxi driver and give me a good rate for a ride to my next destination. It was very kind of her.
