Fabulous & Amazing.

We stay here for 1 week, wish it to be longer. From arriving at hotel cannot fault in any way. The friendly staff, the fabulous rooms, the great big pool with great jacuzzi area with 20 super jets, The view from all rooms, breakfast all fabulous plenty of choices and cook makes great cheese omelette, fabulous rain shower, all rooms have smart TV's, locations at the far ends of the beach where is lovely peace and quiet. Hotel has underground car parking 24 hour security We would highly recommend this hotel I will be staying here again in the future.this hotel is worth every penny. We have stayed in so called 5* hotels that are not a patch on the sun marina hotel cha/am, so thank you for a wonderful stay and hopefully see you again

better communication could avoid disappointment

first the good things. the staff is nice and friendly. the rooms are spacious and very clean. the location is quiet dispite the road that passes between the hotel and the beach. the pool area is nice, and the beach mostly too.
now to the part that makes the hotel just average. when we booked via booking.com it was said that a good breakfast is included. when we arrived we were told that the breakfast buffet was canceled. nobody said why and because of covid cant be the reason, especially because the measurments would allow a buffet. the breakfast that got served to the room (to chose frome a menue with 4 different sets) was poor and not really nicley cooked. and the coffee was oversweetened instant coffee. not really what i expect from a 4* hotel.

Covid time! Hotel set-up alcohol gel and scan in. Room was ok and clean but no safety deposit box and no iron and ironing board available from reception. Our friends room did have a safety deposit box so its strange that some rooms don't have. The housekeeping staff were friendly but the front office team should be more friendly and smile and say hello to guests when they see them. Breakfast was nice but is a self service buffet a safe choice in a time of COVID-19? Swimming pool was nice. For us it is an ok place for a short stay.
