Great staff they are really friendly and attentive. Cleaning staff did an amazing job and their breakfast was really good 10/10 would recommend.

Pleasant at best
This was a pleasant stay at best. The hotel looks good. The hotel definitely ticks boxes in terms of looks, but underneath the surface there are issues.
The rooms are not soundproof. The stone floors, heavy shutting doors and echoey corridors, along with noise from the street do not make this a quiet hotel. This was after being moved from a street view room to a room in the main block. Less street noise but the other noises you cannot get away from.
Beds are rock hard and very creaky, they look good but they are like sleeping on a hard surface. We even asked for the bed to be looked at after the first night of constant creaks.
Bathrooms need updating. Very functional but not great.
Access into town is problematic. It is a long walk into town. It can be done and we did a couple of times . It is a good 30 minutes. Because the hotel is situated out of the main town, getting a taxi took a while. Getting back, again, if something is going on in town and bridges are shut it is quicker to walk than get a taxi. Consider hiring bikes or mopeds.
Breakfast - was average. Toast/ croissants. Choice of eggs with a good selection of Thai food. But Better options can be found outside of the hotel.
Pool - not heated. Absolutely freezing! Again looks lovely. But cannot stay in it for long.

Fantastic stay at this riverside hotel. Loved the warmth of all the staff. Loved the pool, loved the breakfast (200baht per person), loved the quietness of it all. We will be back.

Unfortunately, while this property is pretty on the outside, the inside is less to be desired. The property requires much needed renovations.
We got the free breakfast and after the first day we never went back. There was a dead caterpillar in my food which I reported to staff and they never removed that buffet option as well as followed up with me afterwards. Also the coffee machine wasn't cleaned so when we got our coffees it was dirty water we were given which was really disappointing.
The location is away from the city centre which is fine if you want something away from the hustle and bustle of old Chiang Mai. However the area did not have many food options. Only one coffee shop we liked going to.
The pool is not a pool. The pictures are misleading. You can't really swim in it and there is shade so you can't really lie in the sun.

I would go with another hotel in Chiang Mai.

Amazing stay in Chiang Mai! The staff is absolutely wonderful and the decor is gorgeous! The breakfast is delicious and the outdoors is very relaxing. Definitely recommend staying here!
