Budget hostel, not for who search socialization

Choosed this place because agoda recommendation, the location really great, it had cafe downstair that always crowd with foreigner. I got female room, no lift, thanks god i dont bring luggage. It had public area for eat, work or just sit with nothing to do. Free 2 mineral water everyday, free snacks. The breakfast also awesome, because from the cafe.
The room was clean, but i got upper bed, the stairs without handrails so be careful and it had space in the bed, be careful with your thing or you might fall. The upper bed really high that it touches the ceiling. Only small storage in the room, you need to pay more for private bigger storage. For towel, you need to pay also.
The bathroom for women, only 2 showers and 2 toilets, it had great hairdryer. When i check in, the staff not that good, she said i need to ask the cafe staff in the morning for breakfast, and the next day i asked for the breakfast, and she (the same hotel staff which stand by when i checked in) told me the kitchen was closed, it 8.30am. In the night i knew from other guest, i need to ask the breakfast coupon everyday, for each day and the coupon said closed at 10.00 am, lol. So, the other hotel staff was nice. The cafe closed at 5.30pm and if we back at hotel more than 10.00pm, we need to bring our keycard to open the door.

Hobnob Hostel embodies Thai hospitality at it’s finest. Most notably, the staff in reception and at the cafe during breakfast - were always pleasant and incredibly helpful. They offer complimentary snacks & water, and their avocado toast was delicious!

We highly recommend staying at the Hobnob while visiting Old Town Chiang Mai.
