Pleasant stay

My husband and I travelled around Thailand in Feb 2024.
51Hometel was a clean hotel. Simple loft is what we had chosen.
The staff was super helpful. Front deak staff, a young lady Kik, was amazing. She understood our interests and requests and arranged for our tours too.
The owner was around on our first day and she was very understanding and accomodated our change in plans for the stay. We were initially staying there for 3 days, later changed to 2 days only.
As for the loft, we had a lovely queen bed. Clean room and toilet. Towels, liquid soap and shampoo.
Coffee (with sugar and creamer in it), yellow label tea bags and sugar was available in the room too.
12-24. Hrs laundry service -affordable
4 star due to distance from other locations
Not much dining options around the area of vegan/vegetarians.

I like this place

We stayed for 3 nights and feeling of “away but home” is definitely true! There are kitchen and kitchen equipment and you can do whatever you want. Also there is different breakfast options too. We relaxed and hanged out in Chiang Mai. Its a really perfect experience!

Feel like home

It feels really you’re in home. Great breakfast, kitchen and hospitality. We are far away from our house but we felt we’re at home during our stay. 1+1 was really enough for 2 people and we enjoyed! Decoration is really cool and bed is comfortable. Its really quite and cool place in Chiang Mai.

Ridiculous Towel Policy/ Scam!

This is an apartment hotel which has good facilities and the rooms are interesting and spacious. The major let down is their ridiculous towel policy where a single mark on a white towel means they charge you 250 BHT (or $10 AUD)….. we travel extensively and have never experienced this. It makes the towels not fit for purpose and we are not sure what washing process would cost this much and wouldn’t it be better to simply charge more per night?
We also had a night with no power in one side of our apartment and whilst it was fixed the next day there was a lack of apology of compensation…. No lights, aircon or hot water was not ideal!
We would not recommend staying there again which is a shame as the place has such potential…

Dear Liz,
Thank you very much for your review. Our place has state clearly at the beginning before you check in regarding our smoking rules and towel/bedsheet policies. For unremovable stained on our linen we charged at actual price of them and we give them to you because the towels with stained on it, we cannot use them for next guests. I am so sorry for this may not inconvenience for you but we looking to be on this business on long terms, so sincerity and honestly to our guests is our important policies. We will not scam 10 Dollar to our guests and risk our reputation on this price.
And I am sincerely apologized on the lack of apologized at the first place regarding the power shortage and we will take this comment to improve on our customer service and to be a learning point for our staff training.
Thank you so much and we are looking for improvement everyday to make our service better for our guest.
