Comfy hostel great location

I had such a lovely stay at Z hostel. I had a solo night before going to the airport and just wanted somewhere to relax. At 250B it is slightly more expensive than other hostels in the area but the beds are so comfy and large and you get a black out curtain so its like having your own private pod. Staff were friendly and I had a great nights sleep. Opposite the famous gate so easy to find. Worth the money.

Terrible

I booked it on impulse as it was cheap and I needed somewhere close to tha pae gate. I got there, the lady didn't tell me anything I had to go back to ask about ten questions. She took me too my room which I can only describe as a sauna and kind of located in an alleyway. You could hear everything from the road. It was tiny. The air con wasn't allowed on until the hours of 7pm - 10am. Disgusting. You pay for a room but you can't use it cause it's too hot. I literally couldn't enter into there as it was so boiling. The shower and toilets were in a different part of building I had to go outside to go to them and they were full of mosquitos I just have caught about 15 whilst showering. The ' breakfast' was toast with either orange marmalade or margarine which was full of sugar. That was it. Not good atall. I booked a 4 bed female dorm which was more expensive than the other dorms but I was the only one in there until about 10pm when a man entered. I wasn't bothered about that but I asked for a refund of the difference between mixed and female as I would have just paid less if I wanted mixed but instead they told the man to leave and go to a different room ! Even though it was their error ! Don't book with this hostel there are so many other nicer hostels in chiang mai. Dwell hostel down the road being one of them.

我睡得是單人房，當天入住時竟然一個人也沒有，需要自己check in，住了3天也沒半個人影出現，環境一般，價格合理！
