Low Price, Careful Service, Acceptable Structure
I spent three days in the dorm paying 108 bahts each. I didn't accept card.
Gostei do hostel.
The care was cordial, although not available all the time, unless called in their rooms.
The room seemed acceptable to me. I found the mattress good. There was a small closet to store some belongings.
I found the bathroom good, including the shower.
There was an outer area on top to stretch wet clothes.
There was a area to make meals, with the possibility of using the sink to wash whatever was necessary. On the first day the owner gave me a little coconut candy with duriant for dessert.
The location was not central, but nothing a walk could solve.
There were many mosquitoes in the dining room, mainly at dawn and at night, but when the fan was turned on much of them no longer bothered.
The construction was old, but for me it was quite acceptable, no problems.

Stayed here for 2 nights ! The owners are amazing such beautiful people who go out of their way to do whatever you need breakfast is included and is a huge amount of food cooked on the property! If you’re looking for brand new, this is not your place if you’re looking for eclectic with a cool vibe, immersed into local culture this is your place super cheap for what you get !
Rented a scooter White and golden temple is about 25 min drive and a must see blue temple is about 20 min also very cool ! At the end of the road two minute walk there’s a 7-Eleven or you can get almost anything you need and across the street from 7-Eleven there’s a small restaurant that sells the most amazing soup! To the left of the restaurant, there’s a little stand, where a man makes the best local espresso! I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something that is filled with love and character!!

Just enough for transit and so noisy and annoying
i rarely give bad review but yes totally this place is like a mess. If you just need place for transit to sleep and shower this is the place. The rest dont expect anything. So here is my pros and cons :
Pros :
- cheap
- scooter rental available
Cons :
- the water is leaking in my bathroom and no repairment
- sharing hot shower bathroom is dirty full of soils
- TOTALLY ANNOYING AND NO SOUND PROOFING. YOU CAN REST AT NIGHT SOMETIMES
- Hostel design is like hippie garage, they think it is cool but actually rubbish one
- Need walk 20 minutes to night bazaar
- Hard pillow and bad
At the end just stay here max 2 nights the rest you just waste your time and money. Even we travel on budget but please decent one.

Great cheap little Guesthouse
When we arrived the owner gave us bottles of ice cold water and bananas. The room was tiny, but has everything we need- bed, fan, shelf to put things on and space to store stuff not using under bed. Boiling water, tea, ginger, cold water, bananas, soap and shampoo in the nice hot showers were all provided free!
If you wish to pay this little for a room (we paid just 200 baht a night) in Chiang Rai you cant expect luxury. But what you get here is everything you need, great wifi, well looked after (more cold water delivered to us after a day out), a secure place to lock our bikes and excellent hospitality. Our host was a delight.

Ridiculous rooms
Spent two nights in two different rooms. The first one had a small double bed with dirty pillows and a really weird and old blanket. Didn’t feel clean. The bathroom had a screen door and a big gap up to the ceiling. So no privacy. The water from the sink flowed out on the floor, and since the drain is right next to the bathroom door you have to walk in your own spit to get out of the bathroom after brushing your teeth. We used the shared bathrooms by the reception instead. Because of the bathroom, we changed to another room the next day, which was a twin room. The bathroom was ok but the BEDS!? Honestly it was like sleeping right on the floor. Rock hard. We have been in Southeast Asia for two months and are used to firm beds by now, but this was bizarre. Even the pillow was like a sack of flour.
The staff however was very friendly as most people writes in reviews of this place.
