A little gem
A small resort located on Kai Bae Beach. A hidden gem that deserves a better fate. Bungalows 6 pcs. They can accommodate 3 people (2 adults 1 child). Good AC, spacious beds. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
They cooperate with Cabana, a beach bar that is right next door where you can buy drinks, fruit smoothies and good food. There are plenty of sun loungers there so you can absolutely lie a whole day and just sunbathe.

Great successful holiday
We stayed at White Knot for 3 weeks and spent our main holiday there. Didn't regret it. The bungalows are very spacious and in very good condition. You have a great terrace and can sit super outside in the evening and enjoy the peace. For peace seekers absolutely top and yet you have everything within walking distance. "Bui" our Bungalowboy was also top. He always took care of everything immediately, the rooms top cleaned and everything filled up. There were 2 bottles of water, coffee and shower gear every day and plenty of toilet paper which is not always a given.
The only drawback: the supposedly associated private beach is not private. It was leased which was very annoying for the bungalow residents. If you didn't get there early in time people came from outside and you even from the White Knot couldn't get any more loungers. Also, it is really bad to be approached at the supposedly White Knot private beach and forbidden to bring your own food or drink. You don't want to run into the bungalow if you lie on your beach for 3 hours because of every sip. So you are forced to thirst or buy expensively from the tenant.
One thing that would also be objectionable: we got sheets that had a lot of pretty gross stains. Normally I would never have slept in something like this, but the laundry smelled very fresh, so we put up with it for the last few days.
Otherwise you can really say these bungalows are really a super great place to stay and we enjoyed our holiday very much. Our thanks goes to Vorhalle "Bui" who takes great care of everything alone!!!!

The White Know January 24
Stayed at the White Knot in Jan -24 for 5 nights and even if the hotel isn't especially old (5-10y) it's quite run down on the outside. Don't let the pictures fool you it looks nothning like the pics.
The "pool" should be called a foot-bath since it's really small, noone uses it. The reception was unmanned when we arrived and the staff hardly knows any english so took a while before we where able to check in and get our rooms. Beach is so-so with quite alot of gravel and branches and leaves. Sun chairs? naa rather ordinary plastic chairs - we went to other beaches nearby instead.
On the good side - apartments/rooms are quite cosy with a fairly big bathrom, clean and realtively high standard. Internet/Wi-Fi is really good, you will get european standards in the reception area (150-200Mbps) and around 25-40Mbps in the rooms - this is among the best i've seen during our 4-week stay in Thailand.
All in all you're probably better of chosing a different hotel, there are quite many in the same price range that are alot better.

Only have 6 white bungalows, but it was nice, on the beach, OK breakfast, overall good

Not what we expected at all...
Very outdated and not as pictures shown on booking sites! I understand what other have said about the service... it didn't seem to be anybody at the front desk. We had an OK check in, not so service minded I think, at least on of our rooms could check in early so we could leave the luggage and change and so on... that was great.
the hotel itself is very very old and outdated, it needs to be refreshed. We had a fountain outside the rooms/hut, that needs to be cleaned! So disgusting water inside, it's a shame they don't take care of it.
Breakfast was good, they have different sets you can choose from. Hotel pool so small! It looked more like a big bathtub or Jacuzzi without bubbles/stream.
