A hidden gem in Koh Lanta.

An incredible mid-budget find in a quiet village. We booked a pool view room. The location is perfect for those who want a chilled vibe away from the crowds, with fantastic local restaurants nearby where a meal costs just a few dollars. The pool area is immaculate and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable".

Beautiful stay

We booked in for 3 nights and the accommodation was great, big spacious room and very clean. It may seem a bit secluded, but the hotel offers a moped bike rental service which I would definitely recommend for exploring the island during the day. At night time the old town is walking distance where you can enjoy food and drink drinks.

Baan Chainarong is one of the best places we've stayed, and we highly recommend it for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Baan Chainarong in Koh Lanta is a real gem. The people who run the place are genuinely nice, making you feel at home, even if there's a bit of a language gap. But that's easy to work around.
The rooms are modern, well-maintained, and just the right size. The beds are comfy, and there's a handy fridge. Plus, the air conditioning keeps things cool.
The standout is the spacious pool area with sunbeds – a perfect place to kick back. They offer laundry service for a reasonable 50 baht per kilo and have scooters for rent at 250 baht per day.
Nestled by the main road, it has a serene vibe with light traffic and the soothing sounds of insects. Old Town Lanta is just a quick two-minute scooter ride away, offering a laid-back atmosphere with charming shops and tasty restaurants.
If you're up for more action, a 15-minute scooter ride takes you to the lively west coast of Koh Lanta, brimming with bars, restaurants, beaches, and diving schools.
Baan Chainarong stands out as one of our favorite spots for a mellow and enjoyable island escape – definitely worth checking out.
