Nice apartment but hard bed!
The apartment is one block back from ko si Chang’s small Main Street. There are two apartments next to the owner’s cottage set in shaded gardens. Each has a patio and there’s a sitting area on the flat roof with distant sea views. The apartment was clean and a good size with fridge, kettle and TV. The bathroom had a good shower with hot water. The only downside was the bed - even for Thailand the mattress was very hard. My back was stiff every morning when I got up. Apart from that it was quiet on a night and we slept well. The owners are a German and Thai couple and were friendly and helpful. We paid £27 per night which is quite expensive for Thailand. Ko si Chang isn’t a typical Thai holiday island. It’s more of a fishing village and midweek is very quiet with only a couple of restaurants open late at night. Also the beaches have a lot of rubbish washed up- maybe the authorities or locals could organise a clean up? In summary we enjoyed our stay and I would have rated 5 with a comfier mattress.

Not quite okay, in fact they're awful
We were met at the ferry by a bike and sidecar which took us to the apartments which upon arrival looked quite nice. We dropped of our luggage and we went for a quick walk about town, the apartments are situated quite near Somewhere and this makes it easy to get around. When we returned to the apartments to get showered we were greeted by an awful smell of sewage, we looked for the owners but they weren't around so we decided we would mention it the next morning. That night the smell got even worse, to the point where we didn't want to use the bathroom at all! The next morning I mentioned the smell to the owner, he said he'd never had the problem before but would fix it. We then went to the Belinda pizzeria to get the breakfast that was part of the deal but once we saw what was on offer we declined the breakfast and ate elsewhere. The fix for the smell as it turned out as to be some bleach and a hanging air freshener, so by the evening the smell was back just as bad as before if not worse! Once again we didn't want to use the bathroom, the smell was unbearable but we had no choice. We were going to mention the smell to the owners once again when we checked out, unfortunately there was no sign of them at 8.30 am so we had to leave the key under a place mate, make our way to the nine o clock ferry and of course it meant there was no breakfast on offer (which we had paid for after all) All in all I'd avoid these apartments like the plague, they're overpriced, you'll find much cheaper ones on the island, they literally smell like a cess pit, the breakfast is horrible and the owners can't even be bothered to get out of bed to check you out!

Sehr sauber u. ruhiger Bungalow.
Absoluter Geheimtipp.
Sehr gut geeignet für Leute die ein Leben wie in Thailand mögen, ohne Bars, wenig Ausländer, sehr freundliche thailändische Inselbewohner. Man kann entspannen bevor es zurück in die Heimat geht. Ein kleiner Strand lädt zum relaxen ein. Von Montag bis Freitag ist der Strand ruhig, weil die Thailänder fast alle nur am Wochenende kommen. Für Angelfans gibt es alle Möglichkeiten.

confortevole come essere a casa
Proprietari gentilissimi, la struttura era confortevole, moderna pulita, con terrazzo esterno dotato di amaca . possibilità di affittare scooter direttamente dal proprietario.

ห้องพักกว้าง สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ อยู่ในย่านหาของทานได้ง่าย ใกล้กับจุดท่องเที่ยวในราคาประหยัด การบริการของพนักงานพื้นฐานธรรมดาทั่วไป ถ้าเป็นที่ไม่คิดอะไรมาก ก็สามารถพักที่นี้ได้อย่างมีความสุข สถานที่ส่วนตัวและเงียบสงบมาก
