Really good and friendly

Highly recommend, the hosts were really friendly, generous and helpful! They sorted out the taxis and ferry tickets for us. Food was really good, room was clean and nice. Also the view over Koh Chang from their own deck was stunning!

A nice sleepover before heading to island

Probably the cleanest guest house I’ve ever stayed in my life, speedy checkin, a real home kinda feeling. Outdoor terrace has a nice view over the water and the lighthouse, LCD TV, no mosquitos in sight no dust! Bathroom super clean, high ceilings and deluxe room comes with a king size bed fit for talk people! Breakfast is an American brekkie! Lovely!

Horrible stay!

First of all I am not going to rate this guest house at all! It was a horrible experience. The rooms smelled musty and were super uncomfortable. The owner was friendly in the beginning but then would get in her bad side when in came to $
She would come after you and bill you for every little thing you ate or drank (which is acceptable) she would want the $ right up front for even a water bottle or beer or food! Not nice, compared to many guest houses I've stayed at before.
What really annoyed me and pissed me off the most was when we were having a beer and food she came to us after like 10 min later and said "oh I forgot to tax you for property taxes" like really? Property taxes? I HAVE NOT BEEN TO ANY HOTEL/GUESTHOUSE in Thailand! She is just MONEY HUNGRY! There are other guesthouse around 1-2 miles away and cheaper too!

Ban Sulada Gh stay

I stayed at the guest house for a night on my way to Koh Mak with a friend because we could not make it to catch the last speed boat. It was by far the worst experienced in Thailand, overpriced, uncomfortable beds wrapped with plastic sheets that smelled like death! And on top of that the MONEY HUNGRY owner runs after you with your bill, that you have to pay each time you use or drink something RIGHT AWAY! It felt super annoying to have someone on your back 24/7 about everything. I would recommend to stay a bit further away, I found out afterwards another cheap and nice guesthouse less than a mile away.

Homely feel, clean room, helpful and friendly staff

Chuck the owner picked me up in his car from the bus terminal. As I was traveling alone it would have cost me a bit for a songtaew/taxi to the guesthouse.
Aunty Sulada was ever so friendly and helpful.
I was allowed to bring in alcohol from outside to drink on the porch and she even gave me an ice cooler box to keep my ice.
The next morning I borrowed their bicycle and enjoyed my morning ride around the area. Very peaceful little village and friendly locals. Lots of little shops service with smiles.
I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you want a homely feel place to stay.
Also only 5 minutes to the pier for boats to Koh Mak.
