GOOD - BUT COULD EASILY IMPROVE THINGS.

Pros: Fantastic views, lovely rooms, spacious, great bedding, lovely shower room ample parking, Classy staff and very clean overall with a sparkling swimming pool overlooking the Mekong River.
Negatives: No bar to speak of, although they had a coffee shop which sold very limited drinks. Bar service unavailable before 11.00 am, International travellers don't like these unnecessary RULES.
A lot of ants on bedroom floor.

Excellence in Nakhon Phanom

Located on the banks of the Mekong River overlooking Laos. Excellent hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff. Hearty breakfast included. Reception with fluent English speaking staff. Classic and harmonious ambience in Thai style

Truly awful

Disgraceful restaurant. One week ago we arrived for lunch. We were told the place was full despite several empty tables on view. They advised us to book ahead. Today we did just that and arrived at lunchtime.We walked straight into the almost empty restaurant. A member of staff challenged us and said they were fully booked. I counted the tables and there were twenty-five and only four were occupied. The staff were extremely unhelpful. Visit at your peril.

Chiva Khong is the best in Nakhon Phanom.

#Nakhon Phanom This time, we have arranged for you to stay at #Chivakhong to see the morning view of the Lao PDR side. It's like wow. The view of the Lao PDR side is really beautiful. You can see it on the 1st or 6th floor. Done, the rooms are soft and the beds are soft. Breakfast is passed by sitting and chilling. Watch the Mekong River and morning mist The pool is the cheapest and has a cafe as well.
