keeps the ad promise

one of the few hotels i went where the description meets the reality. the room was clean (so why only 4 stars: the corridor outside the room could use some vacuuming). the beds were comfortable, 2 pillows per person. only the walls are paper thin. could hear tv and noise from the neighboring room.
location: a bit far away from center

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff

Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and everything was perfect. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice. Staff is very friendly and helpful with everything. Rooms are spacious and clean with nice smelling shower utilities. Free parking and bicycles to use to explore the neighborhood.

Minimalist hotel room

We stayed there on the top floor in a room with a terrace. The room was very minimalistic equipped. Even though it was a 100$ room, there was only a simple dining table with 2 chairs. The floor cover in front of the bed was the cheapest plastic mat. The walls had many cracks at the joints. There was no hint on how to reach the reception by phone. The tiny piece of paper with the internet details was in Thai only. The menu is Thai only. This is said to be the town's first lodge. We paid nearly 3 times the standard rate, but what we got did not match the price. The elevator doors were dirty. The staff in the breakfast room preferred talking to each other over clearing empty plates.
When the hotel was built, it might have been good, but now no manager goes through the premises with open eyes and sees what is going down the hill.
