Hotel was nice but needs some updating, new sunbeds around the pool. Other than that it was a great stay

They cheated me with the rating of the room. I paid a premium price and got the same room as below for 3-4 time the price.

Pictures online are definitely old. Quite run down. Not a bad location as in distance to town but up a huge hill which is difficult to walk and will cost more to get a taxi or took took up. Room wasn’t great with not much of a view. Mattress was hard. Staff were lovely and changed to a different room with no bother or charge. New room was lovely and much more updated. Comfy bed but kept slipping between the two beds pushed together. No lift and had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to room. Nice pool but chemically out of whack with the colour changing from Clear and blue to green over the course of the week. Overall was a bit disappointed with higher and different expectations but was clean enough and staff were lovely and welcoming. Could not fault the service.

The Hotel do not deserve 4 stars, it is in need of serious renovation.
Staff however fantastic and breakfast is ok.
But price for the rooms should be half of what they charge

VIK UNNA THIS HOTEL

Can start with the hotel room itself. In the shower there was cold and hot water around each other. The bed was too hard, otherwise the room was ok.
The pool area was very worn and tiring. It is very narrow where the sunbeds stand, and there are a total of 12 sunbeds for the whole hotel, and several of them are destroyed.
The water in the pool was grim and filthy. The pool bar does not open until 13:00, but it has always happened that the staff did not arrive until approximately 13:30 - 14:00, i.e. the bar is closed for most of the day. The concrete deck (the hill) around the pool area has large cracks of up to 10 cm in several places, which it is easy to hit or stumble into.
It is also stated that it is a spa hotel, and there is a separate entrance to the "spa department". We walked into the entrance to the spa and took the elevator up to the second floor where it was supposed to be, and ended up back in the reception.
When we ordered a foot massage, we had a very special experience. After we had ordered the massage, we were informed that it would be free in about 10 minutes. There were two massage dames on a moped, and the treatment had to take place in our own hotel room, in our own bed that was covered with a stove to avoid spilling oil on the bedding. There is no spa department! I would definitely not recommend anyone to book spa treatment at this hotel as you get the same for half the price in town.
You must be aware that there is a very steep hill of about 200-250 meters to get up to the hotel. Parts of the hill are roughly as steep as the underground on a ski hike.
There is a lot of listening at the hotel. Traffic and dog bullying were annoying at night. You can also clearly hear the neighbors talking in their room. Smelling in the doors at all times of the day you must also count on hearing, especially from the nearest floors.
I can definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
What was very good was that there was a very nice and good staff at the hotel.
