Decent enough

For the money it’s decent enough £80 for 3 nights, it’s not major luxury by any stretch but the room is clean, the bed is comfy, the pool is ideal to cool down after being out all day free water dispenser next to front office and location is around 18-20 minutes from most attractions by moped. There are a few little shops near and a small grocery store maybe 10-15 minutes walk, 3-4 on moped. A moped rental about 7 minutes walk, a laundrette and restaurant opposite probably 3-4 minute walk even in flip flops. The young guy who runs the place is really nice and helpful. If I return to Phuket and wanted to stop over this side of the city I would definitely use the place again, also the street is really quite.

Impressive/Views

This is a project completely funded by donations. An impressive effort to honor their favorite King for his 60th year. Easy to navigate. There are stairs you can climb to get closer to the Buddha. A project still in process. Marble is beautiful and the artisans are working away. Very worth the visit.

Best visit on Phuket island

When we are up the top beautiful panoramic you can see Karon beach and Kata beach some time we see Phi Phi island from this mountain and have activity by ATV adventures trip drive up to mountain or Elephant camp and monkey

Huge, serene, divinity and marvellous sculpture

It is around 25 km from Phuket city but one of the most important thing to do in your travel list. You can hire a taxi/tuktuk to go there and again this is out of the world experience when you reach the destination. The Buddha presence on hill top with chants and bells give you divine experience. You will be smitten by enchantment of place. Must go.

Buddha Sculpture at Phuket a must

It was a lovely experience and the scenery of Phuket was spectacular. A must watch for any tourist. A trip to Phuket is incomplete without Big Buddha sculpture visit. Also lots of family Marts on the way.
