The price is very reasonable and affordable, making it perfect for couples, friends, or short getaways without overspending. What impressed me the most — the moment you open the room door, the air-conditioning is already on, giving you that instant cooling comfort after a long day out in the Phuket heat.
The room itself is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, exactly what you need for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping standards are solid, and everything feels neat and organized.
Location-wise, it’s a big win. The hotel is near many popular attractions in Patong, including:

Normal budget hotel
We were here in April 2023 and we came this year too. The impressions have gone bad.
1) Buffet (breakfast) very scarce, monotonous.
2) We had a constant overheating and blackout of the hair dryer. Dried her hair for a very long time because of that.
3) Water dripping from the ceiling. They asked me to change the room, but the new one had water dripping too.
4) floor was ruined, afraid to plant a splinter
5) The rooms are very small, but there are air conditioners. No toothbrushes, pastes, etc. Just shower gel.
6) swimming pool opens until 7pm
7) employees are very friendly, tried to help
There's a feeling that the hotel needs renovation.
It's super in location. The beach is literally 5 minutes away. It's quiet around here at night, okay. The beach itself is clean, well maintained, as it's away from Bangla Road. We actually enjoyed it.

UPDATE: Excellent Problem Resolution by General Manager Mr. Farouk!During our stay, we experienced a severe flooding issue due to a heavy storm affecting our balconies. While the initial response from the reception was slow, the General Manager, Mr. Farouk, personally intervened and met with us in the lobby to resolve our concerns professionally. The hotel took full responsibility, provided us with a refund for the affected night, compensated us for laundry, and even covered our extra accommodation and airport transfer during a flight delay. We truly appreciate the senior management's serious approach to guest satisfaction and taking accountability. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into a positive experience!

Ignored After Providing Every Document for a Genuine Emergency
I never actually got the chance to stay at this hotel, so I can’t comment on the rooms, staff, or hospitality. However, my experience with their customer service before my stay was extremely disappointing.
I was in Thailand, training Muay Thai in Khao Lak for almost three months. I was training twice a day and even had my first fight on 18 June. After two months of hard training, I had planned to spend my last week relaxing in Patong, so I booked Ibis Phuket Patong from 29 June to 5 July and paid the full amount (around ₹28,000).
Unfortunately, everything changed when my father was involved in a very serious road accident. He was hit by a large truck while training for an Ironman event and suffered multiple micro-fractures in his leg. The doctors advised 3–4 months of bed rest, and he wouldn’t be able to walk properly for at least 6–7 months. Because of this emergency, I had no choice but to cancel my holiday plans and fly back to India immediately on 27 June.
After returning home and taking care of my father, I remembered my hotel booking and contacted Ibis Phuket Patong to request a refund. At first, they were responsive. They asked for my flight details, which I provided. Then they asked for my father’s hospital records and medical documents, which I also sent. I cooperated with every request and provided all the proof they asked for.
But after that, the process became incredibly frustrating. Every few days they would ask for another document or piece of information, and this continued for weeks. Eventually, after I had submitted everything they requested, they simply stopped responding. No refund. No email. No update. Nothing.
I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but if you’re asking a customer for extensive proof of a genuine family emergency, the least you can do is provide a clear decision instead of leaving them completely ignored after weeks of communication.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this hotel. I may not have stayed there, but based on how my situation was handled, I have no intention of booking with them again.
If anyone from Ibis Phuket Patong is reading this, please do the right thing. I trusted your hotel, paid in full, provided every document you requested, and all I’m asking for is a fair resolution and proper communication.
