Quiet stays near tourist destinations, Patong Phuket
Green Oasis Stays in the Heart of Dangdong
Who would have thought the heart of Dangdong’s jungle town, a few minutes to the beach, would have such a peaceful, lush, and relaxing stay...
The Resort’s ambience is very shady, surrounded by huge trees.
The rooms were spacious, very comfortable.

Island of green paradise in beautiful dynamic Patong
We've just arrived, and I'd like to thank R-Mar very much for your hospitality! I believe this is one of the best hotels in Patong and Phuket in general! I love the classic Thai style, and the modern equipment makes the holiday perfect. The hotel is designed, the decoration is very authentic. The luxury of many trees and plants, appreciated not only us, but also squirrels (which eat coconuts)), cats (very much love them and even saw a real Siamese cat for the first time at our hotel!) and many exotic birds, the grounds and rooms of the resort are very well maintained and clean. Thank you to each of the staff for their care, attention and kindness!
Pros: perfect location, in the very "heart" of Patonga-nearby there is everything in walking distance; furnished rooms; clean and good level of cleaning; comfortable mattresses, pillows and good linen; hot water! the first hotel where I see it (not just neutral-warm, as everywhere else); not slippery floors, and even on the balcony; a spacious balcony with chairs and table; beautiful lobby and lobby with pleasant relaxing music; decent breakfasts and a great restaurant with European and Thai cuisine a la carte and its own coffee shop overlooking the paradise garden; excellent clean pools with Jacuzzi, different depths and a good bar; there are its own fitness club and spa; although only 4 floors, but there are lifts (and this is very important for people like us who love sports, outdoor activities and many walks); there is its own generator in case the lights go out in the area (and it was once, but our hotel did not affect it).
Disadvantages: the bathroom (room 2304) is quite peculiar in terms of engineering solution, high and has a very wide side (centimeters 20), with half on the left covering the protective transparent screen, and the bowl itself with the notches, plus a small stool on the floor, in general come up with a great quest, it would be better just to shower or at least narrow side)). Sink for washing, it would be nice to clean the drain sometimes (water is not going well, it was from the beginning).
I'd call this hotel perfect for couples or friends, and we'll definitely come back to you again! 55! Thank you very much, R-Mar, you are super!

The perfect hotel on Patong
We love this hotel! Were with her husband a second time in May 2026, before that in November 2025, for 8 days. He's delicious! It's about the people who work there, we were surrounded by courtesy, care and a beautiful, beautiful vibe. Perfect location, spacious and comfortable rooms, a magnificent living well-kept resort - cats, squirrels, birds - it's beautiful! Excellent cleaning (thanks for listening to our previous review), taking care of water and cleanliness, good breakfasts, comfortable mattresses and pillows, chic pool. Thanks to the management, every R-Mar employee, we'll definitely come again! Best recommendations! +++

Top notch hotel
2 of us stayed here for 5 nights end of feb/start march. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It's in a great location with a 3 min walk to the beach with the main bars and restaurants within walking distance too. Nicely tucked behind the lively strip, it's quiet enough for relaxing but still close to the party when you want it.
The staff are very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. We were greeted by staff that took our bags and welcomed us with a nice drink and coconut jellies. The pool is nice and the swim up bar is a nice touch. We went to the spa and had a full body massage, that was great too, we left feeling refreshed. The breakfast buffet was varied and some items changed daily which was nice. Great options for different dietary needs. The room was perfect and the bathroom was huge.
Would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here the next time we come.

Noise at the swimming pool
I have to say that it has gotten worse, I have been there for 11 years now in raw, but this might be the last time. The hotel and the surroundings are ok, but the pool is now like Bangla Road. The music starts at 11 and ends at 7, way too loud. I and others mentioned it to the staff and it quieted down for 30 minutes and then the same noise came back. I even wrote an email to the reception and they promised to deliver the message to the pool bar, but during my 4 week stay, the message did not reach the pool bar. If you want to spend some quiet time under the shade by the pool, forget this hotel, if you want to listen to Bangla noise all day, this is the right place for you. No guests go to R-Mar because of the music, but guests will not come back because of the music. Pretty simple business in my opinion.
