Avoid to deal with this business

The owner (woman) of Sala Bua Room and restaurant is a rude and aggressive person. We were talking to host of different hotel when she approached and intervene our conversation. She was trying to impose her opinion in very, very aggressive manner and at some point started to threaten us. Avoid to deal with this business.

Comfortable - excellent bed/towels

This review is for the hotel and not so much for the restaurant (though the made-to-order breakfast was pretty good).
The English-fluent owner is around in the day time and both helpful and friendly. The location is good as it is in the middle of the Karon beach town though the north end has a bit more restaurant and has the night market.
The room themselves is spacious and well equipped - the room I had had dishes and utensils. The decor is utilitarian so if you are looking for elegant, best look elsewhere. The bed was very comfortable (so firm but not overly so), the towels soft and fluffy (amazing how many hotels, including higher end one have stiff/scratchy towels) and effective yet quiet air conditioning. 5 stars, especially for the price.

Amazing food in Karon

Super tasty, simple and healthy food for whole family, European and Thai, great drinks, we will be back tomorrow for sure. And not expensive at all! Get there before 8 pm, or you will have to wait for a table and a bit longer wait for the food when it gets packed.
