My wife and I liked it.

spent 9 nights at SUNSEN MANSION. modest clean hotel. the room was 309 with a kitchen. cleaning every day. convenient location. everything is nearby. the shops. massage. cafe. bike rental. laundry room There is no swimming pool, you need to go to another hotel nearby. quiet in the room.

A ruined journey

Booked a hotel for a wedding trip, as the comments pointed out. Upon arrival, it turned out there were no rooms available, they were selling more non-refundable reservations than there were rooms. Driven to another hotel in the butt of the world where there's no beach - just rocks. While the suitcase was being loaded, the handle was ripped off. I do not recommend booking!

It’s cheap, so you definitely get what you pay for. I’m not someone who needs fancy accommodations but I wouldn’t stay here again. Just kind of depressing and grimy.

Room was clean and functional but there was a lack of hot water which made showering a bit of a chore. The room was on the top floor which means you need to be relatively fit as there is no lift. All in all you get what you pay for. The room was reasonable value for money in a good fairly quiet location and was cleaned and maintained to a good standard daily

Room rates are reasonable & spacious (athough furnishing is basic). Location is ok. Within walking distance to Patong Beach & shops in the locality. Downside - it's a walk-up apartment with not lift!
