The resort is very well maintained, we arrived at the "off-season" therefore we saw all the cleaning, grass trimming and maintenance work being done. It was a great stay, we enjoyed the room and the facilities. The exploration center is great and provides various activities. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Staff was friendly and help out in all issues.

An interesting hotel definitely with designer touch. Close to the beach, beach is lovely with a number of eateries on the beach and restaurants on the main road. Number of mini markets which is handy.
Regarding hotel, we found the design a bit dark and depressing at times, but that’s our taste for some people it’s fine. Staff was okay, showed us the app for the hotel.

The hotel is wonderful. Even if it was raining during our whole journey, we were able to appreciate the place.
However, we were surprised that there is no private space on the beach dedicated to the clients of the Slate. We have to rent a beach chair (but hopefully, we had our beach towel from the hotel taken before going out by the gate near the beach).
Another important thing: the aircon is really really noisy in the room, even on speed 1. No auto mode so unstoppable... and I tried the fan on the ceiling but it is noisy too, even on the lower speed (which was too fast for me!).

This is a very nice hotel in a great location and excellent staff. The only issue I have with this hotel is the shower. The water pressure is almost non existent and, the placement of the head is so incredibly awkward because when you try and stand under the shower, there is another part of the shower that gets in the way. It is impossible to explain without a photo and unfortunately, I did not take a photo. It is the age old problem with form over function. Some designer thought it a clever idea however, it is one of the dumbest designs I have ever encountered. If they had simply moved the shower head away from the wall another few inches, it would have been much more sensible. This may seem like a very small issue however, it really was frustrating trying to take a shower.
