Paradise Island

Were here in mid-December 2025 (booked one night). The number on the first line (the very first J1). The room is spacious, interesting, a little dilapidated, but clean. The only downside for me... is a very hard bed.
Only hotel guests can get to the island, so people are a little... quiet, calm... total relaxation. White sand, turquoise sea, peacocks walking. Very beautiful nature, the hotel presents itself as an eco-hotel(no TV, Wi-Fi only at reception) Food is delicious, prices are reasonable. For relaxation, the most (regretted taking one night... not enough)

A paradise island 3 hours from Bangkok

We liked the uniqueness of a wild island with only one hotel. The natural environment is beautiful. The lodges distributed along the sea are of uneven charm, our beach views would require restoration , the Beachfront or garden view seem more recently redone. This does not detract from the charm of the hotel with its small sandy beaches, its paillotes with pontoon perfect for books or dreams. The tour of the island on foot is quite unusual and we even have with our grandson participate in cleaning the creeks and win our drink! We swim in the middle of the aquarium, the pool is beautiful. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and pool. Classic Thai food , very attentive staff.

Perfect escape

If you’re dreaming of a private island getaway like me, Koh Munnork is pure paradise with 360° ocean views and total castaway vibes.
This tiny island is all about slowing down and doing… nothing. It's a three-hour drive from Bangkok and a 40-minute private boat ride. No crowds, no stress - just peace and ocean breezes.
The bungalows are simple but comfy, with aircon, private bathrooms (ours had two!), and stunning ocean views. There’s no WiFi or TVs in the rooms, so you’re forced to soak in the beauty of nature.
Electricity is also off daily from 9.00am to 1.00pm, which just adds to the unplugged charm. Honestly, I loved every second of disconnecting here - it felt like a much-needed reset.
Meals are fresh and focused, with mostly Thai dishes and optional full board (breakfast buffet + set lunch and dinner meals). No dessert or junk food here, but yes, they serve alcohol (beer and cocktails).
Koh Munnork isn’t for luxury seekers; it’s for those who want to disconnect, recharge, and truly embrace the sweet, slow island life.
I really enjoyed my time here.

Stunning!

Such a beautiful island, soft sand, clear waters, idyllic peaceful environment surrounded by peacocks! Boat picks you up from mainland pier and takes about 45 mins to get to the island. You can walk around the island in about 40 minutes, although not suitable for young children or if you have mobility difficulties as its a steep track in places. The rooms are basic but clean (no electricity between 9-1 every day or wifi). Staff were friendly and food was good, we loved it so much we have already booked to go back!
