Mangrove is the central hotel of three. All seem to be identical. (the others are Olive Tree and Carunda) It's a budget hotel, so nothing spectacular in the rooms, but everything just works. The aircon is quiet and the curtains are decent, so you get a good night's sleep.
The pool is lovely, has a huge kids pool, and is open until midnight. There's a microwave near the front desk if you want to heat up some food and the staff are happy to give you plates too.
The biggest surprise for me was breakfast. It was really excellent. Iced coconut water, as well as the usual juices. Some decent Thai food and fried eggs, plus the usual toast and cereal. They even had slices of cake. (Different cake each day.) Easily the best budget hotel breakfast I've had in Thailand.

the price is good considering the pool, jacuzzi and relaxation area. breakfast can be purchased. 150 baht each.

Bit disappointed, before COVID-19 this place was full and very well kept. The staff is very good and very helpful.

Pool was sparkling clean, plenty long for swimming laps, and the most powerful jets for a little back and leg massage.
