I enjoyed my time while I was relaxing at this hostel.

My stay at Bad Monkey Hostel Samui was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The hostel offers a comfortable, clean, and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The common areas are well-designed and perfect for relaxing, meeting other travelers, or simply enjoying the island vibe after a long day.
What impressed me the most was the service, especially from a staff member named Bella. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. Bella always greeted guests with a warm smile and was more than happy to help with recommendations, directions, and any requests I had. Her positive energy and genuine care made my stay even more special and memorable.
It is rare to meet someone who provides service with such sincerity and grace. Bella truly represents the heart of great hospitality, and she deserves special recognition for her outstanding work. Because of her, I felt not just like a guest, but truly welcomed and valued.
I would highly recommend Bad Monkey Hostel Samui to anyone looking for a cozy, friendly, and well-managed place to stay in Koh Samui. With excellent service, a lovely atmosphere, and staff like Bella, this hostel is a place I would happily return to again.

beware if you dont like smoke

Having worked in tourism management for years, I can easily discern that some negative reviews are made by customers whose requests were not met, especially regarding cleanliness, and that they are spreading slander. This is not a revenge email; I will talk about both positive and negative aspects. Let me start with the positives: a fantastic location, right in the heart of the city. Is it clean? Yes, it is. Are the staff polite and helpful? Yes... then why is the rating so low? Isn't that unfair to the establishment? No, it's not, because this facility is occupied by spoiled and lawless 18-19 year old youths. All social areas are filled with marijuana smoke, and waking you up at 3 AM while drunk is part of their fun. If you object, you face rude and threatening behavior from those under the influence of drugs. Fights and injuries around 3-4 AM are quite common, requiring constant police intervention. Because this is a facility dominated by drug users, and the worst part is that the hotel management and staff have no authority or power whatsoever. You risk your safety and have sleepless nights... but oh well, what matters is the happiness of alcoholics and drug addicts, right?.
