Hidden Gem in Koh Samui!

Located near two beautiful waterfalls, Cascade Tara Samui offers a peaceful sanctuary where you can reconnect with nature while enjoying a comfortable boutique resort experience. A good place to stay, relax, and unwind in the heart of nature

Everything is almost perfect at Cascade Tara.

What I liked
Everything is almost perfect at Cascade Tara.
The peacefulness is amazing. The place is situated within walking distance to the Elephant Kingdom, about a 30-minute walk to the stunning Na Muang Waterfall 2, and around 15–20 minutes through green areas to reach Na Muang Waterfall 1, which can be viewed from above. The nature here is truly stunning and absolutely worth visiting.
Upon arrival, I was welcomed in the best Thai manner, immediately feeling a warm, family-like atmosphere rather than being treated like a random tourist.
The room was clean, well prepared, and very spacious. Daily complimentary water and coffee were provided, and the cleaning was perfect every day. The resort is very aware of save water, save the Earth principles, which I truly appreciated.
The kitchen, the staff, and the chef were outstanding and truly deserve five stars. The food was absolutely top-notch—well prepared and artistically presented on the plates. Thank you for all the lovely lunches and dinners I enjoyed during my stay.
Some reviews mention staying only a short time, but I honestly wish I had booked more days, because of the peacefulness and surrounding nature. If that is what people are looking for, then this is the right place.
The internet was perfect, which I depended on heavily during my authorship while writing and researching for my book.
What I didn’t like
The wooden furniture in the room was very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. The bed had a medium-to-hard comfort level, which was not ideal for me personally, although it may suit other guests.
The bathroom was done in a rustic style; however, the sink was very low—almost so low that it would work better for someone in a wheelchair. The flooring was artistically made with tiles and loose stones in between, but many stones spread across the floor, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot into the bathroom and slippery when showering.
The terrace was large, with hardwood furniture, but again very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Garden-furniture cushions would have been very welcome.

100% relaxation!

We stayed at this beautiful property surrounded by greenery and had a truly perfect experience. We stayed in a villa with two bedrooms, which was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained — ideal for relaxing in complete peace.
Breakfast was very varied and of excellent quality, with plenty of options for everyone.
The staff was always kind, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
A perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

The most amazing experience, a cozy resort nested in the jungle. Coffee on the patio while listening to the elephants in the morning. Clean rooms, family owned, beautiful property, happy people. You can tell they really enjoy host people from all walks of life. Mr. Pan, and Ms. Zen were so wonderful. Everyone was truly amazing!

Stunningly Beatiful

We had a lovely time staying at the Cascades Tara. Rooms were clean and spacious.
The pool area is very beautiful with stunning views of the hills and the jungle. Lots of pretty bird life and tropical trees including papaya, rambutan, mango, bananas etc. we also enjoyed the mini golf on site.
Staff were lovely. Special thanks to Pan at front desk who was always helpful. He arranged our trips to the waterfall and the elephant sanctuary located within 5 mins drive of the hotel.
The staff also made special effort to cater for us as we are all vegetarian. The drinks were amazing.
Overall a beautiful experience and definitely recommend. The hotel gives a different perspective to Koh Samui away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. It’s is a peaceful experience in a beautiful jungle setting.
Overall, we fully recommend this hotel,
