Amazing stay
We especially enjoyed the dinner experience where you grill your own meat, fun and delicious! The beach is just across the street, only two minutes away, and we had it almost to ourselves.
Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Great organization, peaceful vibe, we absolutely loved it!

Rude owners, bad food, but a beautiful place
Ownership is also stingy about renting motorbikes, and there are not even always motorbikes available. My partner wanted a bike for 30 minutes and had to pay the full 24 hour rate, which is standard practice and he accepted it but then when he returned after the 30 minutes, Roland demanded the key back. We paid for 24 hours so why didn't we have access to a bike for 24 hours? Unfortunately, this property is far removed from most of shops and restaurants on the island, and the resort's restaurant is mediocre and overpriced, so if you want affordable things, you must have a bike. I'd recommend sorting bike rental or other transport from a different place, or shop and bring water, snacks and other essentials with you on arrival.
The menu is long and not cohesive. They should choose less items and do them better instead of having pages and pages of poorly cooked food on offer. It was really sad and disappointing to have flavorless Thai food in Thailand. Sometimes the fruit at breakfast was rotting. Luckily, there are 3 other good restaurants within walking distance that do not require crossing the scary main highway, but only one has proper, affordable Thai prices. They charge 30 baht for a small water
There should be some umbrellas over the lounge chairs around the pool. People want to control their sun exposure. The area would be perfect for cycling, so they should offer bicycle rental.
And now for the positives: The local staff is spectacular. A special thank you to Lek, Arn and Cat for their positivity and hard work. The landscape/ uninterrupted beach views at the pool are exactly what people come to Thailand for. The swim-up bar is a big plus. They offer reasonably-priced laundry service, ready in 24 hours.

Rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior from both the owner and staff.
To make matters worse, the initial bill was incorrect — we were charged for six coffee pods and four beers, when we had only consumed two coffee pods and two beers. After we pointed this out, the bill was corrected, and the receptionist became visibly angry — as if he had just lost some pocket money from overcharging us..
This entire process took nearly an hour while our taxi waited outside. The lack of transparency, incorrect billing, and rude, unprofessional behavior including the owner, Roland, who shouted at us instead of providing a price list made our stay a terrible experience.

Sleepy vibe away from corporate and mass tourism
We enjoyed the yoghurt, fruit and muesli breakfasts with an omelette to follow. All staff are attentive and welcoming. We enjoyed our Thai dinner one night; the menu for local dishes is more limited than other options in the area.
The infinity pool is perfect for swimming or gazing out towards the expansive beach and the vibe is very laid back with low music. The loungers are plentiful but have curved frames with bungee cord so they can’t be adjusted. Fewer people wander this far down the beach so the space is predominantly quiet. Natural shade is available. At low tide it’s a walk to the water which has a long shallow shelf. The bay is hugged beautifully by a peninsular each side creating a stunning setting.
The hotel is part of a larger Blue Haven complex so security is high with barriers and guards at vehicular entrances and well lit pathways to walk between the venues. It’s a short walk up the beach to other facilities or inland to the village. We did both. Our stay was very quiet and true to the descriptions and met our expectations.
Even better if:
Some adjustable loungers were available
WiFi could be stronger for those that want to stay connected; it flickers constantly in eye-line throughout the night which may irritate some guests
Mosquito repellent was provided in the rooms and for the balcony
Thank you to the whole team!

Average Location Bad Service
We came back from an excursion and wanted to relax with a cocktail for a few hours. We had a cooler bag brought by boat that we did not intend to use. We were greeted by a rude waitress who begins with a tone nothing short of rude that here is not on the public beach and that you have to consume. ‘sure we respond!’
She stood in front of us like a vigilante telling us that each of us should drink a cocktail immediately.
Beyond everything, even the location and the sea point are not the best.
