Nice location near walking distance to everything and the rooms are very beautiful and clean and the breakfast was great selection

Used to be better

I have been at this hotel at 2023 and returned now - unfortunately this time i was disappointed. The hotel rooms became oldest and un maintained well. My room and shower had bad smell and they sent the cleaner to spray twice ( help for 10 min…and i had 4 days of bad smell and has to sleep with open window)
Air con - noisy
The beds at swimming pull are in a bad shape and without any comfort cover. The pull area and water are not clean
The stuff as usual very warm and kind ,
Location good, breakfast is good ( should add some cheese or western food).

- large basic Thai style room
- clean guest room and rest rooms
- Bed is very hard and only 2
pillows.
- Staff very friendly and helpful
- good size pool but water a little cloudy.
- fitness centre very basic / not much equipment.
- decent dining and shopping options within walking distance.
- Good adult type night life near by.

Hidden Costs & aircon Servicing

We stayed here as a party of four (one room/twin setup) and unfortunately found the experience to be more focused on extra charges than hospitality.
The Room & Facilities:The rooms were average and lacked basic comfort. The air conditioning was the biggest issue; even on the lowest setting, it performed terribly and clearly needs servicing or replacing.
Additionally, each single bed only comes with one pillow. We considered asking for more but decided against it after our experience with the staff.
Service & Hidden Costs:This hotel seems to "nickel-and-dimine" its guests. When we requested two additional towels for our party, we were told it would cost 60 Baht per towel. I’ve stayed in hotels all over Thailand and internationally, and I have never been charged just to use extra towels during a stay. It left a very poor taste in our mouths.
Pricing Tip:Do not book direct. We paid 1,900 Baht per night, but the booking apps were listed at 1,400-1,500 Baht. The hotel does not seem to match app pricing, so save yourself the 400 Baht and book online.
Also, be prepared for a 1,000 Baht cash deposit at check-in.
Dining:Breakfast was "okay" but nothing to write home about. Our rate covered two people, and it was an additional 99 Baht for the other guests in our party.
Verdict:There are several better-equipped and higher-quality hotels on this exact same street for the same price point. The Pannarai feels like it’s prioritising a "money grab" over customer relations. I highly recommend shopping around before booking here, especially for longer stays.
